Newspaper Obituary - 1929 Utica Daily - Francis Horr - Little Falls, Sept. 22 - Funeral services were held in Church Street Cemetery today for Francis Horr, 72, who died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Gore, Syracuse. Prayer services were held at the home of Mrs. Gora before the body was brought to Little Falls today. Mr. Horr, who formerly resided here, had been in a Syracuse hospital several weeks with a complication of diseases. He was born in the town of Manheim, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Horr. While in this city, he worked for the S. F. Jones Company. He moved about eight years ago to Syracuse, where he worked in a typerwriter plant. He married Teresa Halling, who died 15 years ago in this city. Besides his daughter, he leaves a son, William Horr of Syracuse; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bourroughs of Syracuse, Mrs. Charles Moslar of Philidelphia and Mrs. John Crouse of Lassellsville, and one brother, Isaac Horr of Manhelm.
Newspaper Obituary - Friday, September 20, 1929 Syracuse Journal - Frank Harr - Frank Harr, of 110 Burt st., died today at the Hospital of the Good Shepard. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Gora; a son, William Harr, three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Burroughs, Mrs. Caroline Crouse, and Mrs. Charles Mosher of Philadelphia, Pa., and a brother, Isaac Harr of Little Falls. Funeral at the undertaking rooms of John McCarthy Sons Sunday at 10 a.m. Burial at Little Falls.
