Katherine Lisa Potter passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Orwell, New York, at the age of 56. She was born on February 13, 1969, in Melbourne, Florida, to Milferd and Patricia (Elkin)
Potter. Katherine had a lifelong fondness for animals and cared deeply for their well-being.

Kathy is survived by her son, Jonathon (Adrienne Becker) Trump; her parents, Milferd and Patricia Elkin Potter; and her sisters, Loretta (Ken) Owens and Valerie (Mayo Aswan) Potter.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Half-Shire Historical Society, 1100 County Route 48, Richland, New York.

Kathleen C. Wheeler, 86, formerly of Pulaski, died Saturday morning at Beverly Health Care, Gettysburg, Pa.

Mrs. Wheeler was a beautician.

Born Oct. 23, 1918, in Minetto, daughter of Harry and Rose Quigg Crouch, she was a graduate of Oswego High School and attended Oswego State Teachers College. She married William F. Wheeler on Oct. 2, 1939, at St. Peter's Cathedral, Scranton, Pa. Mr. Wheeler died May 28, 1991.

She was a communicant of St. John's Catholic Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society, the Duplicate Bridge Club and Home Bureau.

Surviving are four sons, William J., Camden, James H., Pulaski, John E., Lacona, and Paul J., Littlestown; four daughters, Jane Armstrong, Oneida, Colleen Ingalls, Pulaski, Marcia Coomber, Westminster, Md., and Mary Lee Brown, Liverpool, and 26 grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Chapel at Unity Acres, Orwell, with the Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, Pa.

Kathleen C. Wheeler, 86, formerly of New York, died Saturday a.m. November 6, at Beverly Health Care, Gettysburg. Born October 23, 1918 in Minetto, NY. She is predeceased by her husband, William F. Wheeler who died in 1991 and her parents, Harry and Rose (Quigg) Crouch. She is a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Pulaski, NY; the Alter and Rosary Society of the Church; The Duplicate Bridge Club and the Home Bureau, both of Pulaski. She was a Beautician. She was a high school graduate of Oswego, NY and had attended Oswego State University, NY.

Survivors: four sons, William Wheeler, Camden, NY, James Wheeler, Pulaski, NY, John Wheeler, Lacona, NY and Paul Wheeler, Littlestown; four daughters, Jane Armstrong, Oneida, NY, Colleen Ingells, Pulaski, NY, Marcia Coomber, Westminster, MD and Mary Lee Brown, Liverpool, NY; 26 grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel at Unity Acres in Orwell, NY on Saturday, November 13 at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Jones, Celebrant. There will be no viewing. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Curtiss was born February 26, 1910, in Williamstown, New York, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Mary Ann (McConnell) Healy. She had lived in Lake Worth, Florida, after retirement and moved to New Hampshire in 1994. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and enjoyed the staff at Hunt Community in her later years. Mrs. Curtiss was a former parishioner of Park Methodist Church in Pulaski, New York. Survivors include two sons, William Curtiss of Chelsea, Massachusetts, and Robert Curtiss of Bay Village, Ohio; a daughter, Carol Kleinschmidt of Winchester, Massachusetts; a brother, Donald Healy of Syracuse, New York; a sister, Jane Tubbert of Syracuse; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.

12554 Kathleen G. Carr December 13, 2019 Kathleen G. Carr, age 61, resident of Albion for most of her life, passed away Friday at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Kathleen was born February 19, 1958 in Oswego, the daughter of Gerald and Beverly Cramer LeBlanc. She graduated from APW High School in 1976 and received her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Oswego. Kathleen married Timothy Carr on March 9, 2003. She owned Women's Health Works in Pulaski for five years. She also owned a hair salon in Altmar for many years and she taught cosmetology at Jefferson-Lewis BOCES. She also substituted at APW and Sandy Creek schools. Kathleen was a member of the Union Church in North Mexico. Surviving are husband, Tim, parents, Gerald and Beverly LeBlanc of Virginia, three daughters, Sarah (Peter) Caufield of Sandy Creek, Danielle (Tom) Whitham of Pulaski and Bree-Anne Carr of Utica, two sons, Matthew (Tammy) Collins of Redfield and Adam Collins (Misty Mattson) Redwood, four sisters, Denise Trudell of Williamstown, Patti Patterson of Virginia, Penny Walker of Mexico and Susan Shoemaker of Pennsylvania, one brother Stephen Patterson of Florida, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by one brother, Ernest Patterson, Jr. in 2003. Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, November 12, 1974 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Lacona - Mrs. Kathleen Weisenburger, 67, former clerk of the Town of Sandy Creek, died unexpectedly Monday evening at her home here. She was the widow of Emil Weisenburger. Mrs. Weisenburger was born February 12, 1907, in Centerville, daughter of George and Katherine Donovan Gibbs. She attended local schools, was graduated from the Former Oswego Normal School, and taught in Daysville, Sandy Creek, and Belleville schools. A lifelong resident of this area, Mrs. Weisenburger had spent 44 years at her present [line unreadable] husband operated a garage and appliance sales and service business. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and directed the Meals on Wheels project through the United Methodist church here. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Guyette, Lacona, and Mrs. Robert (Karen) Bacon of Clay; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and one brother, George Gibbs, Constantia. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but calling hours will be at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with burial in South Richland cemetery.

12556 Kathleen M. Quackenbush, age 69, resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Kathleen was born October 20, 1953, in Syracuse, the daughter of Tracy Updike and Virginia Whitney Mason (Earl). She attended Manlius Schools and graduated from Bryant & Stratton College. She was employed by Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse, and prior to that Frazer Jones in Solvay. Kathleen was married to Rodney Quackenbush on June 26, 2010. She was a member of the Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church.

Kathleen had a huge love for all animals, especially the dogs she had raised (Josh Rene', Charlie, And Titan) and she was a member of Defenders of Wildlife.

Surviving are her husband, Rodney of Pulaski, one daughter, Darbie Kloster (Eric Campbell) of Camillus, three stepdaughters, Kathy Payne and Christal Watters, both of Pulaski and Dawn Alnutt of Clay, brothers Roger Mason of Weedsport and George Mason of Marcellus, six grandchildren and she was Gigi to her great-granddaughter Sophia. She is also survived by a special niece, Jeanne Ferguson and several other nieces and nephews as well as special friends Valerie and Bob Cole. Kathleen was predeceased by her son, Tobey Hart in 2020.

A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 21st at the Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church, 6224 US Rt 11, Sandy Creek, NY 13145, with burial at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.

Kathleen M. Yerdon, 80, of 207 Meadowview Drive, Central Square, formerly of Redfield, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.

Mrs. Yerdon and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in North Refield for 45 years.

Born Aug. 16, 1921, in Redfield, daughter of Joseph and Catherine Halbock Lago, she attended school in Redfield.

She married Emory L. Yerdon on Aug. 14, 1943. The couple moved to Central Square in 1993. Mr. Yerdon died Feb. 18, 1999.

She was a member of Redfield Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are a son, Donald Yerdon, Spencerport; two daughters, Fay A. Colvin, Brewerton, and Paulette I. Yerdon, Vestal; sister, Nellie Lago, Camden, and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Greenboro Cemetery, North Redfield.

Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Kathleen R. Jennings, age 81, resident of Syracuse, formerly of Pulaski passed away Saturday at Iroquois Nursing Home in Syracuse. Kathleen was born July 24, 1939 in Albany, the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Rigney Reilly. She graduated from Vincentian Institute High School in Albany in 1957. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Rose College in Albany in 1961 and her master’s degree from SUNY Oswego. Kathleen was married to Rodney Jennings on August 22, 1964 and he passed away June 23, 1991. She resided in Pulaski from 1967 until 2001 when she moved to the Syracuse area. She was employed by the APW School District at Altmar Elementary as an elementary teacher for 20 years, retiring in 1999. Kathleen was a member of Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski and Holy Cross in Dewitt. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and a Religious Education instructor for many years. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, International HonoraryOrganization for Women Educators. She served on the Springbrook Apartments Board of Directors in Pulaski and was a longtime volunteer instructor and EMT at NOCA.

Surviving, are one daughter, Dorrie (George) Darcy of Dewitt, four sons, Rod W. Jennings of Liverpool, Jack C. (Melisa) Jennings of Pulaski, Tim Jennings (Stacey Geer) of Oneonta and Tom (Keirsten) Jennings of Pulaski, four sisters, Geraldine Bresan of Cinnaminson, NJ, Patricia Richardson of Albany, NY, Eileen McGrath of Mt. Holly, NC and Marsha Miller of Greenfield Center, NY, one brother, Herbert Reilly of Voorheesville, NY and 10 grandchildren, Ryland, Lauren, Kailyn, Natalie, Claire, Will, Megan, Caroline, Liam and Kieran. Kathleen was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Thomas Reilly.

Kathleen grew up in Richland and attended the School for the Blind in Batavia. She has resided in Hannibal for the last 23 years under the loving and attentive care of her longtime caregivers, Vicki and Burt Sova.
Kathleen is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marie and George Bemiss of Orwell, siblings, Terri Durgan of Williamstown, Skip Trumble of Orwell, Laura Wilson of Mattydale, Billie Jo Wood of Orwell, Loretta Emmons of Pulaski and Angel Johnson of Williamstown and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by her father, Floyd Trumble.

Kathryn E. Fox Spencer, 81, of 202 Meadowview Apartments, Central Square, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday at State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse.

Mrs. Spencer lived in Pulaski before moving to Central Square in the early 1980s. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pulaski American Legion Auxiliary.

She enjoyed reading.

Born Feb. 11, 1917, at Syracuse, daughter of Wilbur and Catherine Gorman Fox, she attended Pulaski Academy through the eighth grade. A marriage to Howard Fisher ended in divorce. She later married William E. Spencer. He died in 1974.

Surviving are two daughters, Jean Anson, Lakeland, Fla., and Kolleen "Kye' Carista, West Monroe; four sons, Howard Fisher, Boston, Mass., Daniel Fisher, Constantia, Ted Spencer, Richland, and Todd Spencer, Palermo; two sisters, Mary DeLong, Pulaski, and Emma Webber, Watertown; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A sister, Mabel A. Weisenburger, died Feb. 5, 1997. Another sister, Alice M. Moot, died Aug. 19, 1994. A brother, Fay William Fox, also died before her.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square. Burial will be in West Monroe Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born August 4, 1880 in Russia, coming to this country as a young girl. She homesteaded in the Dakotas before coming to Pulaski with her husband about 45 years ago. They operated a farm four miles south of this village. Mr. Weisenburger died in 1944. Mrs. Weisenburger was a member of Park Methodist Church and Rising Sun Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edna Hatton of Pulaski and Mrs. Della Whittle of New York City; three sons, Carl of Pulaski, Alfred of Lacona and Woodrow of Florida; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hatton home, the Rev. W. Russell Clark officiating. Burial will be in Willis Cemetery. A Rebekah service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. She was born in Plattsburgh, July 10, 1979, the daughter of Steven A. and Susan (Gucker) Dion. Monica was educated at AuSable Valley Central School in Clintonville. Monica loved life and met each day with an irresistible smile. She loved her dogs, horses, music, reading, movies and jokes. Monica had a large group of friends and caregivers that were an important part of her daily life. Survivors include her loving parents; one sister, Amanda Dion and her fiancé Sebastien Desrochers of Elizabethtown; maternal grandparents, Peter and Judith Gucker of Keeseville; paternal grandmother, Margaret Dion of Keeseville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Marcel Dion, Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. State police said Keith E. Prins, 39, Wilder Drive, Richland, was heading north on Peck Road, town of Richland, when his car slid off the road, down an embankment and into a utility pole. The accident occurred at 7:30 p.m. The roof of the car was crushed by the pole, and Mr. Prins was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Police said there were no other vehicles involved in the accident and that the investigation continues. Mr. Prins did have his seat belt on at the time of the accident, police said.

July 17, 2009 - Keith W. Spicer was flown from Wyoming County Medical Center to the Eric County Health and Medical Center in Buffalo with an Adominal Aortic Aneurysm. His prognosis was not good. August 5, 2009 at 4 pm - his brother, James Spicer called Dr. Lewis at the Erie County Medical Center and he died at 7:20 pm. He was cremated in the Buffalo Crematory, Buffalo, new York with the Lombardo Funeral Home, 102 Linwood Ave. Buffalo, NY in Charge. John G. Biddlecom director of the funeral home. The ashes were then sent to Karl Hax, Foster-Hax fuenral home Pulaski, New York where Keith will be buried at the feet of his father in June 2010 when Jim and the family can get together.

12576 Kelly M. Nolan, 27 of Cato, passed away at her home. She was born on April 9, 1989 to Kenneth and the late Barbara Nolan. Kelly loved her "Peaches", nieces, nephews, Godchildren and was an animal lover, especially her cats. She had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.
Survivors include her father, Ken "Peaches" Nolan Sr.; brother, Ken Nolan Jr.; sister, Beth Nolan; many adopted family, friends, nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

Ken later went on to become an officer of a couple of steel scaffolding and shoring companies on the west coast. Among the projects he was associated with was the construction of the stadium in Seattle and the rehabilitation of "the Needle" in the 1970s. Ken retired from Spider Construction about 1988. He relocated to Auburn for a time, then upon his marriage in 1990 moved to Lakeland, Florida. Ken was involved in the Masonic Orders over the coarse of his professional career. He advanced through the degrees. In the early 1970s Ken placed a grave marker on the unmarked grave of his great-grandfather Albert M. Smith in Natchez, Mississippi. Kenneth was born March 29, 1974, the son of Kenneth and Beatrice Webb Muir, Sr. He graduated from APW High School in 1993. Kenneth was married to Betsy Grinnell Muir on September 18, 2010, and she passed away August 12, 2023. He was employed all his life as a carpenter, working construction and doing home remodeling. He was most recently employed by Dave Andrews Construction and had formerly been employed by My 3 Sons Construction.

Surviving, are his three stepchildren, McKayla, Samantha, and Ethan Tipton all of Altmar, aunts and uncles, Tim Muir, Tina Muir- Nolde, Rob Muir and Sarah Muir-Music-Blystone, Gloria (Bruce) Piatt, Bonnie (Leonard) Schryver, Elizabeth (Bernard) Kloster, and Beverly Webb, half-siblings, Richard Cook, Christine Cook Clements, Shelly Cook and Christopher “Buddy” Cook and many cousins, nieces and nephews. 12582 Kenneth C. Wheeler, Jr. November 1, 2019 Kenneth C. Wheeler, Jr., age 83, life resident of the Altmar and Williamstown area, passed away Friday. Kenneth was born November 29, 1935 in Williamstown, the son of Kenneth C. and Mildred Sparks Wheeler, Sr. He graduated from Altmar-Parish High School in 1953 and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 until 1956. Kenneth was married to Beverly H. Daniels on March 31, 1956. He was employed by the Onondaga County Court system as chief clerk and also Oswego County Supreme Court for 30 years, retiring in 1999. Kenneth was also Supervisor and Oswego County Legislator from 1964 until 1979 for the Town of Albion. He was a member of the Amboy Masonic Lodge #650 and past Master, past District Deputy Grand Master, member of the Amboy Eastern Star #877 and past DGL. He was also a member of Russell Tryon Post #1435 in Altmar, and the Altmar Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Beverly, four sons, Kenneth Wayne (Cathy) Wheeler of Altmar, Ricky (Cheryl) Wheeler of Georgia, David (Betsy) Wheeler of Manlius, Donald Wheeler of Pennsylvania, one daughter, Sheryl Blake of Penfield, three sisters, Josephine Vanwinkle, Peggy Kennedy and Janice Oakes all of Williamstown, and one brother, William Wheeler of Sodus, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wheeler was a member of the Oswego County Highway Superintendents Association and an honorary member of the Williamstown Fire Department. He also was a member of the Ricard Grange and the Williamstown Senior Citizens.

Kenneth Wheeler was born at Kasoag Lake May 21,1915, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wheeler, who farmed all his life and was also Justice of the Peace for twenty years. Kenneth attended school in Ricard.

After school, he worked on the farm. In June 1934 he married Mildred Sparks. After he was married they bought their own farm in Ricard, New York, which he operated until 1968. He then moved to his present location on Highway 13, past Checker
House Corners.

After he was married, he worked for the Oswego County Highway Dept. for six years. He then worked for Frank Rogers in the Upstate Wire Co. in Williamstown for six years. He worked at Laribee Wire Co. in Camden four years. In 1962, he started
working for the Town of Williamstown. He became Superintendent of Highways in 1969

Mr. Cronk worked for General Electric Co., Syracuse, and Omega Wire, Williamstown. He then was a logger and farmer and returned to GE, where he worked until becoming disabled several years ago.

Born Dec. 6, 1937, in the town of Orwell, son of Kenneth and Dorothy Colvin Cronk, he attended Altmar schools.

He married Beatrice Elaine Ashmall on June 20, 1959, at Fort Covington.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Kenneth, Richland, and Bryant, Orwell; four daughters, Valorie Rose, Dugway, JoAnne Janack, Pulaski, and Roseanne Snyder and Deborah Blowers, both of Orwell; five brothers; Warren and Steve, both of Altmar, James and Terry, both of Central Square, and Bert, Dugway; two sisters, Evelyn Hoyt, Central Square, and Mary Gaffey, Altmar; 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Oneida, officiating. Spring burial will be in Altmar Cemetery.

Kenneth J. Goodway Sr., age 84, resident of Richland, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Florida. He was born December 12, 1929 in Oswego. Kenneth retired from the Operating Engineers Local 545, where he was a 50-year member. He also served in the United States Army in the 31st Infantry, 7th Calvary and was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served two tours. Ken "Rusty" also raced stock cars at Oswego Speedway from 1958 until 1960. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Surviving are his children, Brenda Auten of Ocala, FL, George (Leslie) Goodway of Richland, Kenneth (Angela) Goodway Jr. of Richland, and Mark Goodway of Oswego; three grandchildren, Dorothy (Duke) West of Virginia, James (Melissa) Auten of Ocala, FL and Sara Goodway (David Valley) of Richland; three step-grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Jorgenson- Howard of Scriba, Joshua Jorgenson of Liverpool and Savannah (Caleb) Snyder of Sandy Creek, three great-grandchildren, Miles Auten of Ocala, FL, Dustin and Dayton Valley of Richland; three step-great-grandchildren, Gavin Jorgenson and Abbigail and Addalynn Snyder. Kenneth H. Ostrander, 82, Springbrook Apartments, died Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Ostrander worked for 30 years at Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., Oswego, retiring in 1980. He formerly worked at Ontario Iron Works, Oswego.

Born Sept. 8, 1917, in Fernwood, a son of Daniel and Nettie LeBeau Ostrander, he attended Pulaski High School and served in the Navy Seabees from 1942 to 1945.

He married Tressa K. Gurnsey June 4, 1938. Mrs. Gurnsey died Sept. 30, 1994.

Mr. Ostrander was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289, and the NiMo 25-Year Club, Syracuse. He was a founder and former coach of the Pulaski Little League and a former member Ringgold Fire Company, Pulaski.

Surviving are his companion, Eve McCune, Pulaski, a son, Wayne D., Pulaski, two sisters, Ruth Welle, Canada Lake, and Dorothy Endsley, Redfield; five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

A son, Kenneth Michael, died Sept. 1, 1987, with his wife, Barbara, in a three-car collision in Antwerp that claimed three other lives. Kenneth M. Ostrander was a physical-education teacher at Hermon-DeKalb Central School. Two brothers, Robert and Frank, and a sister, Jane Barney, died before him.

Spring services and burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

Mr. Southwell lived in Natural Bridge before moving to Pulaski in 1946. He was a carpenter with G&W Builders, DeWitt, for 25 years and an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and beekeeper.

Born Nov. 30, 1915, at Lewisburg, a son of Joel and Nora Hill Southwell, he attended Lewisburg schools.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army infantry in North Africa, Sicily, Normandy, Belgium and Germany. He received a Purple Heart with clusters, because he was wounded more than once.

He married Iris Trumble in 1947.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Kenneth H. and Randy L., both of Pulaski, and Joel H., Richland; two daughters, Vickie M. and Polly B., both of Pulaski; a brother, William, Richland; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a niece.

Funeral and burial are private. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.

Kenneth H. Southwell, 82, of 136 Lake St. died Wednesday at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego.

Born in Lewisburg, Mr. Southwell lived in Natural Bridge before moving to Pulaski in 1946.

Kenneth J. Hilton, 77, of 428 Atkinson Road, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital.

Mr. Hilton retired from Lewis Dewey's Arco Station in 1987 after 30 years of service. He had also been employed by the town of Richland.

Born June 8, 1921, in Pulaski, son of Leonard and Cecile Smith Hilton, he attended Pulaski schools. He married Irma R. Barclay on March 29, 1961.

Watertown- Kenneth L. Sharp, 65, died Tuesday November 18, 2014, at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness. He was born August 8, 1949 in Lowville, NY, the son of the late Roy and Emily Pitcher Sharp.

Mr. Sharp worked for Climax manufacturing retiring in 2011 after many years.

He was a Sunday school teacher at Watertown Korean Church, he loved to play guitar and sing gospel songs, and he loved Jesus very much.

Mr. Sharp is survived by his Fiancée of 23 years, Suk Hui Yadlosky; a son, Robert, Watertown; two daughters, Lisa, Black River, NY, Carmelita, Ft. Polk. LA, two sisters, Gertie Norfleet and Ruth Campos; 10 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown on Friday, November 21st at 11:00 AM with burial following in Brookside Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7 PM, Thursday, November 20th at Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown.

Wisconsin Rapids - Kenneth E. Nelson, age 68, of the Town of Saratoga (Wisconsin Rapids) died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Nekoosa United Church of Christ. Rev. Timothy Miller will officiate. Ken was born March 2, 1950 in the Town of Hansen, Wood County, WI to Walter and Florence (Leggett) Nelson. He served in the United States Army with the 75th Rangers during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. Ken married Linda Nugent on July 9, 1994 in Vansant, VA. For 33 years he was employed at Consolidated Papers, retiring as a supervisor of the Kraft Mill.

Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman, who especially enjoyed his trips to South Dakota pheasant hunting. He was a long time member of the Yellow River Rod and Gun Club. Ken was also a member of the Babcock American Legion and the New Miner VFW. He also took great joy in riding his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his wife Linda Nelson, four children, Sharron Nelson of Necedah, Michelle Wipperfurth of Wisconsin Rapids, Tina (Chet) Nelson Bowman of Melrose, Steven (Melissa) Wipperfurth of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren Stephanie and Jacob Searles, Athen Arzt, Wyatt Bowman, Lakota Nelson, Kyla Cooper, and Blake and Lexi Wipperfurth; great grandson Jacob John A. Searles; nine siblings Iva Bannerman, Barbara Nelson, Rose Bagnowski, Vern (Judie) Nelson, Violet Bohn, Delores Nelson, Laurrie (Mary) Nelson, Sherri Nelson all of Nekoosa and Jean Nelson of Colfax.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, son Shannon Nelson, grandson Austin Nelson, brother Donald Nelson, infant brother Orville Nelson, and brothers in-law, Richard Bannerman, Elmer Bagnowski, and Larry Bohn.

Kenneth P. Champney, 81, of 96 North St., died Monday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, after a brief illness.

Mr. Champney was a life resident of Pulaski and had a summer home in WauWinet Island in Alexandria Bay. He owned and operated Champney Liquid Fertilizer Plant. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School.

Mr. Champney was a member of Fulton Lodge 1280, Loyal Order of Moose, and a 40-year member of Ringgold Fire Department. He also was a member of Pulaski Lodge 415, F&AM, Media Shrine Temple, the Royal Order of Jesters and the Oswego County Shrine Club.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Diane Lying of Pulaski and Dorothy Champney of Cicero; a son, Richard of Pulaski; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Pulaski Congregational Church, the Rev. Jim Tschudy officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

February 4, 2004 Kenneth Paul Williams, 80, of Onondaga Hill, departed this earthly golf game on Wednesday, February 4, at Community General Hospital to join departed friends and family and play on Heaven's grandest greens. Mr. Williams celebrated his 80th birthday on January 4. His wife Mary E. Williams died three years ago. They were married for 53 years. Ken was born in Richland, New York, to Reverend Manford and Carrie (Sherman) Williams. He graduated Phoenix High School Class of 1941 and joined the U.S. Navy in 1943. Mr. Williams served on submarines in the South Pacific during World War II. Upon discharge, he returned to Central New York, married Mary Skalko in 1947, and worked for GE constructing the first television sets. He joined his in-laws, Dmytro and Natalia Skalko, in the restaurant business, working at the Hub Restaurant on South Salina Street. Ken and Mary bought the Velasko Inn on Onondaga Hill in 1953 and operated the restaurant until 1976. The Williams' developed Shady Brook Plaza and operated Shady Brook Soft Ice Cream for 25 years. Mr. Williams served a term as Councilor on the Town of Onondaga Town Board, was a longtime Treasurer of the Town of Onondaga Republican Committee, and had been a member of Tuscarora Golf Club for over 45 years. Mr. Williams enjoyed golfing, bowling and being with his grandsons. Mr. Williams is survived by: his daughter, Natalie Williams-Dardaris of Onondaga Hill; his treasured grandsons, Nick and Noah Dardaris of Onondaga Hill; brothers, Philip of Phoenix, Coy of Pennellville, Ronald of Oswego and South Carolina, Clive of Central Square, Louis of Pennellville, and Timothy of Syracuse; sister, Tamsie (Gene) Wolfe of Central Square; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was predeceased by his sisters, Vilma Vanderveer, Vina Spalding, and Elnora Windhausen, and brother, Manley Williams.
