15364 Newspaper Obituary - January 7, 1886 - n this village, Jan 2, 1886, of exhaustion following an attack of diphtheria, Ettie, the youngest daughter of G. Riley and Sarah Wyman, aged 4 years and 4 months. Little Ettie was the possessor of one of those rare, happy, winsome natures that won upon the affections of all those with whom she was brought in contact. A quiet, pleased smile was her ready greeting for every one whom she knew, and, during her last illness, came ever upon her little loving face when free from the suffering incident to her disease, remaining even in the peaceful sleep that came to her that is called Death. Bright beyond her years, she seemed to have premonition that her little earth voice would never again greet the ears of her papa and mamma. In the simple home song she was accustomed to sing to them, and she had so told them, even when fully entered upon a convalescence that they fondly trusted would end complete restoration. Ready, loving, willing, with no ray of gloom or fear to darken her way through the portals of the great unknown, as she came thence, as she has again entered, pure and spotless, a ray of sunshine, leaving the darkness of sorrow to those who loved her.

January 2, 1886 ~ Ettie Wyman, age 4 years, 3 months, 7 days born in Pulaski, Daughter of G. R. Wyman and Sarah Minor, died at Pulaski of diphtheria.
