15524 Newspaper Obituary - March 16, 1922 Sandy Creek News - William D. Jamerson - (excerpt) we sadly muse upon the departure of William D. Jamerson, which occurred at his home on the Ridge Road, March 10, 1922. The community has sustained a lasting loss by his death, as men of his type are not numerous. He was a man of excellent parts and possessed the noble traits that enter into the making of true manhood. He was born in this town July 8, 1872, on the farm cleared and owned by his maternal grandfather, Davis Hale, a pioneer of the town, and who by reason of his sterling worth as a citizen, excited an influence for good among the early settlers. Mr. Jamerson's parents are still living, his only brother died ten years ago, his father being Wilbur F. and his mother Harriet Hale Jamerson. He was united in marriage to Sarah L.
