Mr. Kranz was employed by General Electric Company, Syracuse, for several years and also was employed at Frick & Frack's Restaurant. Born September 28, 1929, in Syracuse, he served in the Army and the Marine Corps. He married Verna Joyner on August 25, 1963. Mr. Kranz was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289. He had resided in Pulaski since 1964 and previously had lived in Mexico. Surviving besides his wife are five sons, Edward and Grant, both of Mexico, David and Terry, both of Pulaski, and Todd, California; four daughters, Laura Hager and Linda Blair, both of Pulaski, Amy Fontaine, Mexico, and Krista Gleasman, Redfield, and several grandchildren. An infant son, Brian E., died December 15, 1968. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wiltse officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. A calling hour will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The funeral will be noon Friday at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. Warren Covall officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to James Street United Methodist Church, Syracuse.

Ralph R. Gransden, 77, of 22 Cotty Drive, East Syracuse, died Monday at University Hospital.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. Gransden lived in the Syracuse area 50 years. He retired in 1978 as a mechanic after 36 years with Carrier Corp. He was a member of James Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Naomi; a daughter, Gail J. Garvin of Pulaski; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 5, 1936 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Ralph Herrick, 73, Dies At Home On Richland Road - Ralph Herrick, 73, well known and life-long resident of this town, died at his home about two miles east of Pulaski on the Richland road at 8:30 last Friday morning. Mr. Herrick was born in this town April 26, 1863, a son of Hiram J. and Jemima Sherman Herrick. He received his education in the schools of the town, was a charter member of Pulaski Grange, and a member of the Methodist church of this village. In 1886 he married Minnie Sairs, who died two years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Florence Hen-ick; two nieces, Miss Ruth Decatur, who had kept house for him the past four years, and Mrs. Enos Hill, all of Pulaski. The funeral was held at the home at two o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. W. A. Gardner officiating. Burial was in Willis cemetery. Friends and relatives attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. Frank Preeman of Mexico; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Salladin of Fruit Valley; Mr. J. John Evans of Fulton; Mr. Buckley and family of Oswego; Mr. and Mrs. Melford Leopold of Syracuse, and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Williams also of Syracuse.

18859 Ralph V. Lundgren, age 92, resident of Dewitt, formerly of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday at his home with his family by his side. He resided in Pulaski for 52 years, moving to Dewitt in 2000. Ralph was born August 29, 1920 in Altmar. He graduated from Altmar Union High School in 1938, and continued his education at CCBI in Syracuse. He served in the United States Air Force from 1942 until 1946 in the North African Theatre.

Ralph married Betty Groves on June 19, 1948. He was a co-owner, and served as secretary and treasurer of Pulaski Sales & Service, a Ford-Mercury dealership for 32 years, retiring in 1988.

Ralph was a member and Trustee of the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and a member of the Masonic Lodge #315 F&AM. He was also past President of the Pulaski Service Club and former Trustee of the Pulaski Village Board.

Surviving, his loving wife Betty, four daughters, Barbara (Ken) Conklin of Rochester, Sally (Gary) Pickard of Syracuse, Lynne (Mark) Rickabaugh of Boston and Nancy (Scott) Brosch of Sandy Creek, son in-law George Chapman of Syracuse, eight grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, Stephanie, Katie, Mark, Samuel, Michael and Jessica, one great-granddaughter, Ava, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Park United Methodist Church, 2 Hubble Street, Pulaski, with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.

Ramon W. "Ray" Russell, 81, Baldwinsville, formerly of Malone, died Thursday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Syracuse.

Mr. Russell was sports editor and then managing editor of the Malone Telegram, where he was employed from 1955 to 1985. He had lived in the Syracuse area for the past five years.

He was a life member of Centenary United Methodist Church and attended Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, North Syracuse, where he sang in the choir.

He also was a member and past president of the Malone Central School Board of Education and was active in several area civic organizations, receiving Malone's Sports Hall of Fame Award in 2000.

Born in Malone, son of George H. and Orel Mulaniff Russell, he graduated in 1941 from Franklin Academy.

He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II and then attended Florida Southern College, receiving a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1946.

He married Helen Maher on Jan. 15, 1960, at Centenary Methodist Church.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons and their wives, Ramon W. Jr. "Bill" and Anne, Memphis, Tenn., and Peter and Krista, Birmingham, Mich.; a stepdaughter and her husband, Donna and Donald Kennedy, Clay; a stepson and his wife, Earl D. and Carol Maher, Mattydale; five grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, four stepgranddaughters, six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

His first wife, the former Ruth Graves, three brothers and two sisters died before him.

The funeral was Monday at Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial is in North Syracuse Cemetery.

Arrangements were with Fergerson Funeral Home, North Syracuse.

Ramon W. "Ray" Russell, 81, of Baldwinsville, died Thursday at Syracuse Veterans' Hospital. He was a native of Malone and had resided in this area for the past five years. LAKEVIEW - Randall Charles Almas, 67, of Morley, went to be with his Lord at his home on Monday, April 25, 2016.

Randall was born on Aug. 10, 1948, in Lakeview, the son of Charles Edgar and Merie Grace (Thurston) Almas. He was raised in Morley and graduated in the class of 1967. Randall married Linda Shirley Chapin on June 8, 1968, at Bethel Lutheran Church. He was employed as maintenance and die cast operator by Keeler Die Cast for 34-plus years until they closed. He then worked for Metron of Big Rapids in maintenance for 2-plus years. Randall enjoyed farming, hunting, camping, fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Green Country Church.

Randall will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda Almas, of Morley; his mother, Merie Almas, of Morley; son, Michael Almas, of Morley; daughter, Pamela (Christopher) Martin, of Morley; five grandchildren, Crue, Randi, and Emily Martin, and Michael and Joel Almas; sister, Susanne (Gary) McIntyre, of Morley; brother, Steven (Dianna) Almas, of Morley; two brothers-in-law, Roy (Arlene) Monroe, of Grant, and Jim (Kathy) Chapin, of Florida; three sisters-in-law, Peggy (John) Dell, of Grand Rapids, and Mona and Dawn Monroe, both of Wyoming; and several nieces, nephews, friends and church family.

Randall was preceded in death by his father, Charles Almas; mother-in-law, Shirley Girard (Russ Girard, Edwin Monroe); one sister-in-law, Theresa Thompson; and nephew, Jeff McIntyre.

Funeral services for Randall will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Brigham Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Roger Cooper officiating. Visitations for Randall will be held from noon until the start of the service on Friday and from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the funeral home. A luncheon will take place at Brockway Wesleyan Church on Three Mile Road in Morley following the internment at Boyd Cemetery in Morley.

Randy E Curry, 60, passed away Saturday August 22, 2020. He was born June 15, 1960.

Randy is survived by his parents Bernard D Curry and Marion Curry of Pulaski, NY, his companion Donna Strauss, a son Ryan E Curry, sisters Kelly A Whitney, Sherry J (Paul) Wilson, nephew Garrett, nieces Tori and Shayna, grandson Owen and great nephew Henry.

Randy loved all outdoors, fishing, hunting etc. He was a charter boat captain for “Fish On Charters” for many years. He retired from the Oswego County Highway Dept in 2015.

“Randy we along with all your friends will miss you! We look forward to seeing you again one day in Heaven.”

He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1971. Randy was married to Jean Calhoun on May 9, 1998. He was employed by Schoeller Technical Papers in Pulaski and also worked for various construction companies.

Surviving are his wife, Jean of Pulaski, two sons, Chad (Traci Peacock) Southwell of Richland and Jeremey Harber of Whitesboro, five daughters, Sally (Travis) Maurer of Michigan, Heather (Richard) Howell of Liverpool, Meagan (Keith Cheyne) Southwell of Syracuse, Kayla Southwell of Pulaski and Abby Southwell of Pulaski, two stepsons, James Doolittle of Cortland and Patrick Bonville of Pulaski, two brothers, Kenneth Southwell of Pulaski and Joel Southwell of Richland, two sisters Polly (Larry) Vivirito of North Syracuse and Linda Zayown of Florida, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 28, 1921 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Word was received here last night of the death in Mannsville, New York, of Ransom D. Soule, a former well known resident of this city. Mr. Soule was for many years employed as foreman in the Kingsford shops, the family home being at 351 West First sheet. About ten years ago he removed to Mannsville. Mr. Soule was prominent in Masonic circles in this city, being a past master of Oswego Masonic lodge.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 29, 1921 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Ranson A. Soule - Mannsville lost one of its oldest citizens Tuesday morning when Ranson A. Soule aged 88 years, 3 months passed away. Mr. Soule was born in the town of Richland the son of Reuben and Aurelia Soule. He was a brother of the late Potter Paine Soul and of Percival Soule of Altmar. For many years Mr. Soule was a foreman in the Kingsford shops at Oswego, the family residing at 351 West Fifth Street. Around 1900 he moved to Mannsville near which village he has since resided. Mr. Soule was active in Masonic circles as well as in the G. A. R. and Grange. He was a past master of the Oswego Masonic lodge. On January 14, 1913, fourteen years after the family moved to Mannsville Mrs. Soule died. He was a man of more than ordinary ability highly respected wherever he resided. He is survived by a son, Charles of Palataka, Florida and a daughter, Mrs. DeAlton Brown who had for many years resided in the parental home. Rev. J. L. Duesler, pastor of the Belleville Baptist church will officiate at the funeral to be held at the home of Miss Sarah Lester in Mannsville, Friday at one o'clock. Burial in the Willis cemetery in the town of Richland.

Sheridan - Elsworth W. RASMUSSEN, 74, of 113 W. Lake St., Stanton, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, in Sheridan Community Hospital.

He was born May 20, 1925, in Kent County, the son of Claude and Elda SNYDER RASMUSSEN.

Originally from Sheridan, Mr. RASMUSSEN was a longtime resident of Stanton. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Stanton American Legion Post 452 and a past commander of the VFW Post 5065 of Sheridan.

He married Phyllis E. SOULE RASMUSSEN on Sept. 28, 1943, in Sheridan. She survives, along with two daughters, Sharon and Alden NEITZEL of Stanton, Sue WICKES and Steve CESAR of Sidney; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cynthia RASMUSSEN of Stanton; six grandchildren and spouses, Richard and Carrie RASMUSSEN, Michele and Timothy ROOD, Brent NEITZEL, Ryan WICKES, Stephanie CESAR, Jessica WICKES; four great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Joshua, Ian, Hannah; and one sister Eleanor JOHNSON of Stanton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stebbins & Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan, with Pastor Michael Murray officiating. Burial will be in Sheridan Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial considerations may be made either to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

CENTRAL SQUARE - Ray A. Sweatland, 67, a resident of South Main Street, died Thursday at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Sweatland was a native of Westdale and had lived in Central Square more than 30 years. Prior to his retirement in 1975, he was a bus driver 28 years with Greyhound Bus Lines.

Mr. Sweatland was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Wart) Sweatland; two sons, Daniel of Brewerton and Douglas of Central Square; two daughters, Patricia Ann Williams of Brewerton and Mary Ann Sweatland of Central Square; a brother, Robert of Pulaski; a sister, Edna Wilcox of Sandy Creek; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nepehws.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 206 S. Main
St.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Taylor Funeral Home for Ray Sweatland, 60, who died at his home in Richland after an illness of about six months. Rev. Wesley Baker, pastor of the Richland Methodist Church and Rev. James N. Pauley, of the Pulaski Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Westdale Cemetery.

Mr. Sweatland was born April 1, 1894, the son of Charles and Mary Sweet Sweatland in Camden. He spent his early life there and was educated in the Camden schools. In 1917 he was married, to Miss Lillian Green in Westdale. He and his wife came to Pulaski to live 24 years ago and the past three
years they had lived in Richland.

Mr. Sweatland was employed by the New York Central Railroad for 40 years as maintenance foreman. A veteran of the first World War, he was a member of the Richland Methodist Church and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Maintenance Employees.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. David Bailey of Pulaski and Mrs. Charles Wilcox of Sandy Creek; two sons, Ray of Watertown and Robert of Richland; two brothers, Ernest of Williamstown and Ivan of Camden; and five grandchildren

Raymond B. Colvin, 96, of 209 East Ave., East Syracuse, died Saturday at Van Duyn Nursing Home.

Born in Albion, he lived in East Syracuse since 1940 and had also lived in Altmar. He worked for the New York Central Railroad for 48 years, retiring in 1969. He also worked in the construction of the Bennett Bridge in Orwell.

He was a member of the Onondaga Lodge 802, East Syracuse, and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and Altmar Grange.

His wife, the former Ethel Ingerson, died in 1992. A daughter, Althea C. Hall, and his sister, Dorothy Cronk, died previously.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond B. Jr. of Butler, Asa W. of East Syracuse and Robert L. of Central Square; five daughters, Edith M. Gillespie of Cicero, Charlotte C. Alexander of Constantia, Jessie C. Gotham of Camden, Myrtis E. King of East Syracuse and Nancy J. Waite of Parish; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.

Raymond E. Cornwell, 91, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday at St. Luke's Nursing Home, Oswego.

Mr. Cornwell was employed by Church & Dwight in Solvay from 1967 until retiring in 1982. He also owned and operated Richland Auto Parts for many years. He had resided in the Pulaski-Richland area for 54 years, moving to Oswego in 2001.

Born Feb. 25, 1915, in Ellisburg, son of George and Ethel Price Cornwell, he attended Mannsville schools and served in the Army from 1941 to 1945.

He married Josephine M. Sidari on Dec. 27, 1947.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Raymond A., Richland; two daughters, Virginia M. Lund, Oswego, and Kathleen J. Ramos, Corpus Christi, Texas; two sisters, Jessie Place, Syracuse, and Rena Clark, Ellisburg, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Susan E. Benavidez, died Nov. 21, 1978.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.

Later, he worked as a maintenance man for the Oswego Savings Bank in Pulaski.

Mr. Clark was a former grand master of the Odd Fellows in Orwell.

Hilton who had been a patient in Bellevue Hospital, New York, since May 5, passed away Thursday morning, July 14, 1932. He was born in the town of Orwell, December 15, 1878, the oldest child of Harvey S. and the late Ella F. Hilton. He was graduated from the Teachers training class of Sandy Creek High School and from the normal school at Terry Haute, Indiana. Mr. Hilton has followed the vocation of teaching many years; he was employed as a teacher in Bellmore and Wantagh, Long Island, in two schools 23 years. He gave up his position at the latter place two years ago, because of poor health. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Platt Hilton; one daughter; three grandchildren; his father; two brothers, Reuben Hilton, of Pulaski, Claude Hilton of Painesville, Ohio, and by three sisters, Mrs. Eaton Greenfield, Mrs. Amy Barker and Mrs. B. F. Bohanan of Orwell. The funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. H. H. Barnard, in the home on Church street that Mr. Hilton had prepared and that he anticipated occupying. He came back to it for a day, but not in life. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.

Manwaring, father of five, was found dead in a ditch on Hamilton Street early Monday. He was believed to have been run over by his own truck, which was found across the road in a field with the light still on. Mr. Manwaring was born March 7, 1919 in Pulaski, the son of Ora and Eva Grieb Manwaring. He owned and operated a farm just outside the village on the standpipe Road, for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Texas Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by his wife the former Virginia Heagerty, five daughters, Janice (a member of the 1962 graduating class at MACS), Judith, Valerie, Veronica and Ramona, all at home. His six brothers all of Pulaski, are Lewis, Herbert, Donald, Arnold, Robert and Roland and one sister, Mrs. Calvin Jordal of Pulaski. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Zimmer officiating. Interment in the Willis Cemetery.

The funeral for Mr. Brennan was held Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with Rev. George H. Brownell, pastor of the Richland Church of Christ, officiating. Ray was a 1972 graduate of Skaneateles Central School, where he lettered in golf, football and wrestling, and attended Auburn Community College. In his Junior year he participated in a Methodist Missions trip to South America. He was an Eagle Scout, Archery Counselor at Camp Woodland, and a member of Auburn First United Methodist Church where he joined the Air Scouts program, utilizing their Link Trainer. Ray was with New York Telephone and Bell South Systems for 32 years as a Facility Technician and was involved in the installation of the first fiber optics system. He was predeceased by his brother, Lee and his Aunt's: Ida Secaur, and Hazel Chamberlain. He served in the United States Army Reserves and later worked for Chrysler New Process Gear Plant in Syracuse for 31 years. Ray was well known in the area as a butcher for many local farms and residents. He married Nancy Litts August 28, 1999 in Niagara Falls. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Boylston Beagle Club. Surviving is his wife Nancy, his children Cindy, David, Gail and Lori, a brother Clayton and many grandchildren and great grandchildren He was predeceased by a son Allan and nine brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his father in 1984 and his brother, Richard Luce.

Survived by his wife, Constance Luce; four sons, Gary, Steven and his wife, Lisa, Ray, III and his wife, Sally and Brian and his wife, Angela; two stepsons, Patrick Nolan and his wife, Angela and Joseph Nolan and his wife, Junia; his mother, Grace Luce; one sister, Dorothy Kuhn and her husband, Ernie; three brothers, Jack and his wife, Lorraine, David and his wife, Barb, George and his wife, Barb; 12 grandchildren.

Private cremation took place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL. Services will be held in the Spring for family and friends.

Raymond N. Isham, aged 67, resident of Pulaski for the past 40 years, passed away Thursday at his home. Raymond was born July 26, 1947 in Lysander, the son of William and Shirley Skinner Isham. He graduated from Dryden High School in 1965. Raymond served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1974. He married Sharon McConnell on May 22, 1976. Raymond was employed by Clinton’s Ditch in Cicero for 20 years, retiring in 2012. He was a member of the Oswego County ATV Club.

Surviving are his wife Sharon, five sons, Raymond Isham of Tennessee, John (Susan) Isham of Maine, NY, Jeffrey (Shannon) Isham of Lysander, James (Tammy Sperling) Isham of Pulaski, and Jason Isham of Pulaski, two brothers William Isham of Lake Placid and Lawrence Isham of Depew and one sister Kathleen Forbes of Adams, and several grandchildren.

Services for Raymond O. Hoffman, 82, of 263 Wilson St., who drowned Saturday after falling into the state Barge Canal while fishing in the town of Verona, will be at the convenience of the family at Fiori Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

Born in Oneida, Mr. Hoffman was employed at the Smith-Lee Co. for 50 years before retiring in 1963.

He was a member of the National Guard of Oneida and a former member of the Masonic Lodge of Oneida.

He was a widower of Bertha Eastman, who died in 1980.

Surviving are a son, Raymond O. Jr., of Canastota; two daughters, Joyce Carinci, of Oneida, and Barbara Taylor, of Verona; a brother, Clark Hoffman, of Massachusetts; three sisters, Iva Hunt, of Michigan, Davis Hall, of Canastota, and Frances Harp, of Washington; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

SYRACUSE - Raymond O. Hoffman Jr., 61, a native of Oneida, passed away on Wednesday morning, Oct. 29, 2008, at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse, where he had been a resident since Aug. 3, 1990.

Ray was born on Jan. 7, 1947 in Oneida, the son of Raymond O. Hoffman Sr., and Bertha and Irving Seaman. He was a 1965 graduate of Oneida High School.

He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy Seabees Mobile Construction Battalion No. 71 from 1965 to 1969 during the Vietnam War.

Ray was a former co-owner of North Country Grocery Store in Old Forge, N.Y. He was employed as a co-manager with the P&C Food Markets in Oneida County, and he was a meat cutter at Peters IGA in Jamesville before his illness in 1990.

Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Those who came to know Ray will remember him as being quite the comedian and playing jokes on those close to him. No matter the situation, he could always make you laugh.

Ray was of the Catholic faith and had formerly attended St. Patrick's Church in Oneida. He was a member of the former Vietnam Veterans Association No. 293 in Morrisville, a member of the Old Forge Masonic Lodge and was a former president of the Old Forge Fire Department and EMT.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Lori Ann and David Sabino of Lake Mary, Fla., Vic Hoffman of Rockville, Md. and Mary Margaret and Charles Cronin of Morrisville; two sisters and brothers-in-laws, Joyce and Army Carinci of Oneida and Barbara and Paul Levitt of Verona; five grandchildren, Kira Marie, Divina Rae, Tyler Leeann, Caitlynne Josephine, and Charles Ryan; also surviving is his former wife, Linda Walters mother of his children and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, mother, step-father and sister, Irma Mae.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 from the Ironside Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Richard Kapral. Interment with Military Honors will be made in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida. Friends are invited and may call 4-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the funeral home, 342 Main St., Oneida. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Camillus Brain Injury Program at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center, 813 Fay Road, Syracuse, NY 13219.

The couple lived in Richland. Mr. Filkins worked for New York Central Railroad and Conrail in Watertown as a car inspector for 44 years, retiring in 1979. He was a past member of the Richland Fire Department. Mrs. Filkins was born December 13, 1921, in Pyrites, the daughter of Leonard and Agnes Badger Bushaw. She attended school in Sandy Creek. She had been employed by Curtiss Mills, Richland.
