Pete was born July 17,1950 in Cortland, NY to the late Raymond Dyer and Eilene Tilkins. He lived most of his life in Richland, NY and several years in Sarver, PA. Pete graduated Pulaski High School. Pete was drafted to the United States Army in 1971. He was stationed at Fort Dix, NJ and spent one and a half years in Germany. He was a life member of the Richland Fire Department with 50 plus years of active and honorary service. | 2016 | Bruce Charles Milligan, 65, passed away at home on Nov. 4, 2021. Bruce was born in 1956 to Bert and Barbara Milligan. He was a smart and creative man of many talents. During his life he was an outdoorsman, competition shooter, snowmobile racer, carpenter, contractor, restaurateur, volunteer, artist, and a treasure hunter. He lived every minute for his family: His late wife Karen, his boys Michael, Patrick, and Sean and their families, and especially his granddaughter Molly. He was absolutely dedicated to serving them and never thought of himself or his needs above any of theirs. He was deeply interested in and proud of anything his kids ever did in life. He would brag non-stop about any of their accomplishments, even the little ones like winning on a scratch-off ticket or getting third place in school sports. He picked up metal detecting after his wife passed, and was an instant natural. His favorite thing in the world was sharing his finds with everyone, and digging up old change for his granddaughter's savings. His passing is a loss felt by many, and his memory will be celebrated and cherished by those who were lucky to know him. For those who wish to, contributions may be made to The Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Bruce's memory. Bruce was born in Syracuse on June 14, 1932, the son of Paul and Cora Sherman Carl. He graduated from Pulaski High school in 1950 and attended Cornell University. In 1952, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served until 1956. Bruce was married for 65 years to Thelma Minor Carl who passed away on August 18, 2022. He was employed by Western Electric in Syracuse for 28 years, retiring in 1984. After his retirement, Bruce worked as a bus driver for the Pulaski School District and as a maintenance worker for Oswego County Savings Bank. He and his family were members of Park Methodist Church. In his free time he loved building model ships, and was an avid coin collector. Some of Bruce’s model ships can be enjoyed at the Lakeside Restaurant at Port Ontario. Soule, 78, passed away quietly at his home on July 4th under the care of his family, friends and Oswego County Hospice. He was born to Glen and Josephine Soule in Pulaski on July 20, 1930. Bruce married the former Grace E. Gibbs on July 24, 1955 with the Rev. Pauley officiating in Pulaski. A devote father, grandfather and husband, his life pleasures were basically his family, his many friends acquired throughout his lifetime and his work. Upon his graduation in 1948 from Pulaski Academy Central School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp., being discharged with the rank of sergeant. For a short time, he was employed by the New York Central Railroad. In October of 1952 he was employed by Niagara Mohawk. He retired in October of 1994 after 42 years of service. At the time of his retirement he was line supervisor of the Pulaski office. His political career began as Town of Richland Republican committeeman and party chairman. He became Oswego County Legislator for the Town of Richland in 1971. He served from 1976 to 1993. Upon his retirement in 1993, Bruce had served 22 years with the county. He was a member of the Pulaski Congregation Church, the American Legion, the Sandy Pond Sportsman Club and an honorary member of the Ringgold Fire Department. Bruce was a past member of the Masonic Organizations and the shrine and also the JCC's. Bruce was also a past member of NOCA in Pulaski. Surviving are his wife, Grace, of 53 years, and four children. Daughters, Susan (Paul) Mahaffy, Patti (Dave) Kingsley and Jeanne Soule. A son, Jim Soule, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of Pulaski. A brother, Fred Soule, Hernando, Fla. Bruce was predeceased by one brother, Loren Soule. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the South Richland Cemetery with the Rev. God called Bruce home on Sunday, March 15, 2020, as he was surrounded by his devoted family. Bruce was a family man, a friend to many, as well as a man of strong Catholic faith. Bruce loved summer vacations on the shores of Lake Ontario. He played the piano and trombone with The Celebration Band for over 20 years. Bruce was an avid sailor with Hobie Cat Fleet 204 and loved teaching sailing to new people. A former Boy Scout, Bruce had a great appreciation for wildlife and astronomy. He was a dedicated Syracuse Orange basketball fan. Bruce spent the majority of his career working in the dairy industry. He was the Executive Vice President of the Northeast Dairy Foods Association for 28 years. Early in his career, he was a salesman for Byrne Dairy and a Regional Marketing Specialist for the American Dairy Association & Dairy Council. Bruce also had an entrepreneurial spirit, working in and owning family businesses. Bruce was a graduate of Pulaski Academy & Central Schools. He earned his A.A.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Morrisville and his B.S. in Business Management & Economics from SUNY Empire State College. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Patricia (Kemblowski); his children, Allison Krupke (Douglas Reeves), Jessica Krupke (Will McAuliffe) and Matthew Krupke; his two adored grandchildren, Leo and Colin McAuliffe; his siblings, Daniel Krupke (Sylvia), William Krupke (Julie), and Rebecca Thomas (David); and his parents, Charles and Barbara Jane (Adams) Krupke. Bruce also leaves four nieces and six nephews. Due to recent world events, a funeral Mass was held for immediate family. A more inclusive memorial will be held at later date.
