he was engaged in the study and cul-
ture of fruit and vegetables, many
| years producing more in value from

in the faith, Mr. Rice, pastor of an
Adventist church in Syracuse. His;
well chosen words and passages of
scripture were conceded by all as
very fitting for* the occassion. Burial
was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends present at the funeral from
out of town were, Mrs. Simon Glover,
Richland, John Waggoner, of Boyl-
ston, Mrs. Alice B. Austen, of Lacona
Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Bass, Mrs. Eatbm

Newspaper Article - Thursday, September 8, 1887 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Port Ontario - Miss Anna B. Douglas concluded not to keep a district school longer, and has taken a school in Rochester, with one pupil. Harry Moody, we understand, is his name. Miss Douglas was one of our most successful teachers and we regret to lose her from the field of action. A number of invited guests assembled last Thursday to witness the nuptials at the house of the bride's father, Isaac Douglas, and to bid the newly wedded pair good-bye, as they left for their future home in Rochester.
