Campbell, 53, of 5624 Route 11, died Thursday at her home of a brain aneurism. Miss Campbell taught art for 25 years at Sandy Creek Central School, retiring in 1999. From 1971 to 1974, she had taught in Mundelein, Ill. Born Oct. 10, 1948, in Sandy Creek, daughter of Charles C. Sr. and Elizabeth M. Merriam Campbell, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1966, and from Midwestern College, Fairfield, Iowa, in 1970. She received a master’s degree from Syracuse University in 1979. Miss Campbell was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Pulaski, a member and treasurer of the Ontario Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of Salmon River Fine Arts Center, Pulaski, and the Pulaski Historical Society. Surviving are an uncle, Otto Lilley, and an aunt, Alice Gasperini, both of Pulaski, and several cousins. A brother, Charles, died Jan. 2, 1981. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Episcopal Church with the Rev. Sally Heiligman officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. | 4652 | Class of 1966 PACS Newspaper Obituary - February 24, 2006 Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - February 18, 2006 - Bonnie E. Sykes, age 58, of Stearns Road, Town of Floyd, passed away February 18, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born February 22, 1947, in Camden, a daughter of Lewis and Betty Turner Dawley, and graduated from Pulaski Academy in 1966. Bonnie was united in marriage to Phillip L. Sykes, on January 7, 1967, in Pulaski. She was employed by the Town of Floyd Water Department. Bonnie was well loved and respected by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Phillip; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberlee and Obie Burger of Floyd, and Michelle and Steve Kotary of Floyd; her parents, Lewis and Betty Dawley of Pulaski; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Dawley of Pulaski; and three grandchildren, Kristofer Burger, Katelyn Burger and Shelby Kotary. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Cremation will be in Waterville. | 4653 | Class of 1966 PACS Newspaper Obituary - September 2, 2006 Watertown Daily Times - Dennis R. Martin, 58, Richland, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Syracuse, from heart failure. Mr. Martin worked for 33 years at the P&C Warehouse, Syracuse, retiring in 2003. Born Aug. 8, 1948, in Richland, son of Harry E. and Arlene Waite Martin, he graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1966 and entered the Army Oct. 27, 1966. He volunteered for duty in Vietnam and was assigned Nov. 1, 1967, in the First Infantry Division. He was wounded Oct. 11, 1968, and sent to a hospital in Japan, from which he was transferred to Valley Forge Hospital, Pa., until his discharge Dec. 4, 1968. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the National Defense Medal, a Meritorious Unit Citation and the Purple Heart. A marriage ended in divorce. He was a member of Teamsters Local 317 and the Richland Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Karen Martin, Baldwinsville; a son, Donald, Minetto; his mother of Richland, and four grandchildren. His father died in 1991. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Burdick, 84, of 31 Gerdon Drive, died Monday at his daughter's home in Richland. Mr. Burdick retired in 1982 after 19 years with Schoeller Technical Papers, Pulaski. He had previously worked for 23 years at Ames Iron Works, Oswego. Born Jan. 7, 1917, in Oswego, he was a son of Walter and Helen Parker Burdick. He married Dorothy M. Vickery on July 4, 1940. They moved from Scriba to Richland in 1963. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pulaski, a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a charter member of the Scriba Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Betty J. Warren, Richland; two sons, James E., Athens, Tenn., and Joseph R., Herkimer; two sisters, Viola Roach and Ethel Carey, both of Oswego, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Army 1st Lt. Daniel J. Burdick, was killed in action Dec. 3, 1968, during the Vietnam War, and a daughter, Roberta Burdick, died March 27, 1952. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. today at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Hubbard, 57, Pittsfield, Maine, formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday at his home of complications of injuries suffered in a fall. Mr. Hubbard was a professional photographer and a radio announcer, and most recently worked in retail sales. Born Sept. 26, 1948, in Oswego, son of Howard and Martha Davis Hubbard, he graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1966 and later from Hamilton College, Clinton, and the University of Maine. He served in the Air Force as a linguist in Korea during the Vietnam War. A marriage ended. He was a former member and past president of the Pittsfield Kiwanis, and a past board member of the Pinnacle Ski Club in Pittsfield. He enjoyed photography, skiing, reading, singing, music, movies and walking. Surviving are a son, Colin, Pittsfield; his parents, of Pulaski; three sisters, Joanne Cossa and Kathy Hubbard, both of New York City, and Barbara Hubbard, Pulaski, and two brothers and their wives, Kenneth and Carol, Pulaski, and David and Terry, Rodman. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church's social hall. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
