| 4709 | Class of 1967 PACS KOSKI Post-Standard, The (Syracuse, NY) - August 11, 2004 Robert J. Koski August 9, 2004 Robert J. Koski, age 54, of 7956 Vernon Road South, Cicero, died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. He was born on February 16, 1950 in Rome, NY. He resided in Cicero since 1997, previously living in Delmar, Rochester, and Cary, NC. He graduated from Pulaski Academy Central School in 1967. He married Barbara Burnash on May 23, 1970. He was employed by Gerharz Equipment in East Syracuse for the past 7 years. Surviving are his wife, Barbara E.; two daughters, Amy L. and her husband, Patrick Doody of Troy, Amanda L. Koski; and a son, David T. both of Cicero; his mother, Estelle Koski of N. Syracuse; two brothers, Bernie of Cummings, GA, Ronald of Cicero; three grandchildren, Andrew, Rachel, and Kayla. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, Pulaski. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery. | 4710 | Class of 1967 PACS Richard C. Pollic, age 73, resident of Richland, passed away Monday at his home surrounded by family. Richard was born on his grandfather’s farm in Altmar, on October 4, 1949, to George and Virginia Pollic. He was a 1967 graduate of Pulaski Academy and Central School, and he served in the United States Army from 1969 until 1971. Richard was married to Debra Skinner Pollic on September 9, 1977. Rick worked construction for 40 years. He loved woodworking and made many items for his children and grandchildren. He also loved photography, especially taking pictures of nature. After retirement, he and Debbie loved to travel, and they made some memorable trips together. His favorites were Alaska and to see the Redwoods. Rick had a deep love for his family, and they were his number one priority. Surviving, are his wife of 46 years, Debbie, sons, Lawrence (Nina) Pollic and Steven (Jen) Pollic, granddaughter, Darcey (Jacob) Moody and grandson, Matthew Pollic, brother, George Pollic and sister, Judy Henderson, and sister in-law, Janis Giordano, and several nieces and nephews. Rick fought a long, hard battle with his enemy, cancer. His stubbornness and strong heart finally lost the battle. It gives his family peace knowing that he is no longer suffering. A memorial service will be held, 10 a.m., Saturday, September 23rd at St. James Episcopal Church, 24 Lake Street, Pulaski, with a private burial in Pineville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, September 22nd at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. | 4711 | Class of 1967 PACS Donna A. Turtura, age 74, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse with her family by her side. Donna was born January 6, 1949, in Pulaski, the daughter of David and Hope Rankin Williams. Donna was married to Bernard Turtura for 50 years and he passed away in 2019. She was employed by Kinney Drugs in Pulaski for 20 years and had previously been employed by Wayne Drugs and Rite Aid in Pulaski. She attended the Fernwood Methodist Church and was a member of the Pulaski Historical Society. Surviving, are one daughter, Lori (Timothy) Rice of Pulaski, two sons, Timothy (Rose) Turtura of Liverpool, and Garrett Turtura of Oswego, two sisters Edith Hughes of Florida and Cynthia Jaques of Texas, and one brother James Williams of North Carolina, and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Donna was predeceased by her sister Jackie (David) Monroe of Johnson City. A memorial service will be held at the Dugway United Methodist Church, 1722 Route 104, Parish, NY on January 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Food will follow the ceremony.
