Several of this place attended the funeral of Mrs. J.C. Taylor at
the Pine River church Sunday. Mrs. Taylor was taken to the home of her
sister in Rolland hoping the change might do her good but she rapidly
grew worse until last Thursday when death relieved her from her
suffering. The funeral was held Sunday at the Pine River Church and she
was laid to rest beside her father, E. Mount, in Pine River Cemetery.

This census did not give ages, but gave a complete list of familymembers, apparently from oldest to youngest. A census was taken every year between 1806 and 1813. Jedediah's family was only listed in 1810.

Lowell has sometimes been counted as his brother Royal in this census, but all other sources give Royal's birth year as 1811 and the census was clearly taken in 1810.

Tuesday, Oct 22nd was Delos DURFEY's 68th birthday and there was afamily reunion at his home. Five generations were in attendance, ranging from Mrs. Fanny BARR (sic) to Leo HARRIS. Last evening, after an afternoon of merriment, the party sat down to a genuine, old style birthday dinner and it was a feast for kings and queens, notwithstanding the large and varied amount of toothsome delicacies provided, the party did themselves justice and reduced the weight of the groaning tables.

The evening was another season of good natured sociability. Delos was the recipient of numerous gifts in commemoration of the event. Among those present were:

Mr. and Mrs. John LYNCH
Mrs. and Mrs. Archie DANN and son Lawrence
Mrs. Henry BARR
Mr. and Mrs. Fred HARRIS and son Leo
