Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Belleville. Mr. Patterson died at 6:55 p.m. Friday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he was admitted earlier that day. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Patterson was an independent truck driver for 15 years before going to work for Morgan Williams trucking service, Belleville. He retired in 1995 because of illness. Born May 24, 1935, in Watertown, a son of Chauncy and Hazel Bradbury Patterson, he attended Pulaski High School. He married Arlene Rogers on May 4, 1956. The couple lived in the South Jefferson area. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Darlene S.) | 9204 | Donald F. Robarge, age 85, of County Rte. 2, Richland, died Tuesday at his home. Born on May 6, 1920 in Lacona, he was the son of Ezra and Olive Gardner Robarge. He lived in Richland for the past 60 years. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1939 and married Phyllis Widrig on September 12, 1941 in Mexico. He served in the US Army from 1943-45 with the 740th Railroad Operating Battalion in Europe and was discharged as a Tech Sergeant. He was employed by Conrail as an Engineer for 42 years retiring in 1982. Don was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Church, Pulaski, Robert Edwards Post #358 American Legion, Pulaski, NESCO Horseshoe Club, Pulaski, United Transportation Brotherhood Union of Syracuse, and the Greenview Golf Club, Central Square. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis of 64 years; two sons, James E. (Kay) Robarge of Auburndale, FL, Donald F. (Susan) Robarge, Jr. of Nashville, TN; one daughter, Sharon A. Robarge, Richland; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren. Towles, Sr. will be Saturday February 14th from 2 pm - 4 pm at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. A memorial service will be at 4 pm following the calling hours. Spring burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. He was born in Ellisburg, April 23, 1933, one of 15 children to Frank and Mabel (Hess) Towles. He was drafted into the Korean war in 1953 and served in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1955. Following his military service he returned to the North Country logging when he met his future wife. Following marriage he worked on farms in the Ellisburg area before going to work at Borden's, then Black Clawson in Watertown until he transferred to Queen's Farms Dairy in Pierrepont Manor until his retirement in 1996. Don was a skilled woodworker and carpenter, remodeling his homes and enjoyed building furniture. He was a member of the American Legion Post 521 in Fox Lake, WI. He also enjoyed visits from and visiting his children and grandchildren. Family ties meant the world to him. Don married Shirley (Leween) November 5, 1955 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Watertown. Prior to his wife's passing they traveled extensively throughout the United States to include Louisiana, Virginia, Washington DC, Missouri and Wisconsin to visit their daughter and son-in-law. Upon his wife's passing he continued to enjoy vacations returning to Washington, DC, Virginia, and Wisconsin. In 2010 he realized a life-long dream of going to Muir Woods in San Francisco, CA to see the giant redwoods and to Las Vegas, NV with his daughter and son-in-law. He is survived by his son Donald F. (Jr.), Watertown; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn F. and William E. Linke (Jr.), Waupun, WI. Grandchildren: Dawna Towles, Anna Towles (son Austin, daughter Emma), Gabriel Towles (fiancée Sammy Jo Seager; daughter Delila) and Ramsey Towles all of Watertown. William Linke, III (son Liam) and Lindy Linke (sons Landon, Sullivan & daughter Malena), all of Waupun, WI. Two brothers Allan, Belleville and Raymond, Adams. Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 2, 1926 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Donald Brown Killed by Automobile - Saturday, soon after noon, Robert Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Brown, of Rome Street came home from an automobile ride with friends and as he went to cross the street to go into his home, and automobile coming from the west, driven by Leroy Montanya, of Pineville, hit him and fractured his skull, also broke his neck. Dr. A. G. Dunbar was called but he found the little boy had died almost instantly. District Attorney D. A. Colony was called in after examining several witnesses to the accident decided that Montanya would not be considered criminally to blame. It is a most shocking blow to the parents and friends and much sorrow is felt over the death of the dear little boy. He was born four years ago. He is survived by two brothers, younger, beside his parents. He was grandson of Mrs. Jessie Brown, of Syracuse, who came at once to aid in comforting her son and daughter. Mr. Peabody was a member of Operating Engineers Local 545 for 50 years, Masonic Lodge 415, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289, a life member of Robert Edwards Post 357 American Legion and it's Forty & Eight and was a volunteer for Oswego County Opportunities. [Note: For more information on Alice Clark, please find her in this cemetery listed as “Alice Huldah Bass Clark Berner”.] Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 10, 1952 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Falling Tree Strikes, Kills Donald Clark, 45 In Accident at Orwell - Donald H. Clark, 45, of Orwell was struck and accidentally killed by a falling tree, at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on the Finster farm on the Orwell-Lacona road, where he and a group of men were clearing a right-of-way for the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. According to the report of assistant district attorney Richard Donovan and Trooper Robert G. Karle of the local substation, William Cobb and Mr. Clark, had a contract for clearing the grounds for the power company and were working on the project when the accident occurred. Mr. Clark and another workman were using chain saws to cut up the tree already fallen and had been warned by Mr. Cobb that another tree was being felled. Clark who was in the path of the falling tree, failed to hear the shouts of the others, and was struck on the back of the head by one of the top branches. Dr. A. B. Thompson, acting as coroner's physician, pronounced death due to a fracture of the skull and the body was released to Paul K. Foster by Mr. Donovan. Donald H. Clark was born in the Hinman district, south of the village, April 28, 1907, the son of the late Edwin Clark and Lulu Hutchings Clark. He attended Pulaski school and was married to Miss Alice Bass, June 20, 1930. After their marriage, they resided in Syracuse where he was associated with his uncle, F. Clayton Clark in the sales of the Universal Milking Machine. He moved to Orwell about 20 years ago, where he was engaged in general contracting for logging and grading. He was chief of the Orwell Fire company at the time of his death, and a former president of the Orwell Fish and Game club, and was at one time a member of the Oswego County Advisory Fire Board. Funeral services will be held from the family home at Orwell, Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Rev. Frederick L. Anderson of the Pulaski Baptist church will officiate. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery at Orwell. Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Alice Bass Clark, our four children, Flower, 17, Muriel, 9, Donald 2nd, 4 and Herbert, 3; his mother, Mrs. Lulu Hutchings Clark Pierce of Syracuse; two brothers, Carl of Pulaski and Richard of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. John (Ruth) Donahue and Mrs. John (Mildred) Taylor both of Orlando, Florida, and Mrs. Arthur (Lulu) Calhoun of Roanoke, Virginia, several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Meyler, he graduated from Watertown High School. Mr. Gaffney was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired in 1984 from O.M. Edwards Co., Syracuse, after 44 years. He was a member of the 80th Division Veterans Association, president of Chapter 80 of the National Association of Civilian Conservation Corps Alumni and trustee of the Clay Historical Society. He married Norma A. Barrisford in 1974. He had been married previously. He was a CSEA Local 615 member, delegate and vice president and later, a member of local 913 CSEA retirees. Mr. Owens was a lifelong United Methodist, belonging to Brown Memorial, Rockefeller and Gethsemane churches. For over 20 years, he had sung with the Syracuse Chorale. He was also a volunteer with Advocates for University Hospital. He was junior vice commandant and life member of the Merton R. Kemp Jr. Detachment League of Fulton. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion Fulton Post and the VFW Quattrini-Dehm Post of Oswego. He was also a member of the Military Order of Devil Dogs. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; a daughter, Laurie Seguin of Oswego; two sons, Edwin and Kenneth, both of Fulton; three stepdaughters, Karen Collins of California, Kathy Kaczka of Rochester and Lou Ann Collins of Fulton; a stepson, Richard Collins of Phoenix; a brother, Albert of Fulton; several grandchildren; one great-grandhild; and several nieces and nephews. He was also a member of the Pulaski Service Dub and was active in the Pulaski Men's Bowling and Golf Leagues. Surviving are his wife, Doris; one son, Thomas R. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Elizabethton. She was an avid bird watcher and was a former member of (T.O.S.) Tennessee Ornithological Society. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Sycamore Chapter. Mrs. Adams was a volunteer at the local hospital as a Pink Lady and also volunteered her time at the local crisis center. She enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed Civil War and World War II History books. Survivors include her husband, John W. Adams, of the home, two daughters, Deanna Lee Campbell Davis and husband, Wesley T. Davis, Cameron, NC, Dani Sue Campbell Thompson and husband, Cory M. Young, age 58, of Monroe Township, Ohio, died Sunday evening, July 5, 2009, at Hospice House in Euclid, Ohio, where she had been a patient for the past week. She was born August 7, 1950, in Syracuse, N.Y., and was the daughter of Allan L. and Dorothy R. (Trumble) Barber. A county resident since 1991, she was employed at Lightning Molding Machine in Conneaut, Ohio, and had previously worked at the Child Care Center and Marianne’s Candies. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and being with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Ronald L. Young Sr. of Monroe Township; three sons, David (Phyllis) Duell of Mexico, N.Y., Donald (Tasha) Duell of Snead Ferry, N.C., and Dennis Duell of Mexico, N.Y.; four step-children, Tina (Bryan) Brown of Conneaut, Ohio, Christine Young of Conneaut, Ronald Young Jr. of Conneaut and Donna (Eric) Newhart of Conneaut; two sisters, Janet Chabot of Altmar, N.Y., and Joanne Mason of Fulton, N.Y.; four brothers, Thomas Barber of Gastonia, N.C., Jake, Larry, and Lonnie Barber, all of Altmar, N.Y.; and 15 grandchildren. She earned an associate's degree later in life from Bryant and Stratton College. She worked in many fields during her lifetime, most recently as a customer service rep booking medical transportation appointments. She is remembered fondly by her coworkers. She was an avid sewer and loved to create articles of clothing, blankets and other useful items. She enjoyed watching sewing shows for tips and ideas. Her other love was her granddaughter, Sakura, her little princess. Oba was a great playmate and loved to spoil her princess every chance she had. She often combined her 2 loves to create items, most recently an Elsa (Frozen) costume as a Christmas present. She is survived by her only son, Jermy Ryder, her daughter-in-law Lisa, her granddaughter Sakura, her mother Hatsumi Dam, her sister Mary Martin, her brother Don Jones and several nieces and nephews. After they sold the donut shop, she and Tammy became beach bums, enjoying the beaches along the way and going parasailing and snorkeling in Florida. She was game for almost anything that had to do with a beach. She was a lover of flowers, doing cross stitch, needlepoint and crocheting, but especially going on those vacations with her daughter. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of Italy, Texas; daughter, Tammy Munoz and her husband, Samuel Martinez of White Oak; son, John Vickery IV of Harleton; grandchildren, Anthony Munoz and his wife, Jennifer, of Longview, Robbie Munoz and his wife, Deslie, of Arizona, Teshia Trejo and her husband, Miguel, of Gladewater, John M.
