Born in Lacona, New York, Mrs. Melfi had formerly been employed with I.S.O. Insurance. Her husband Robert Melfi passed away in 2000. Marion is survived by her sons Robert of Michigan and Richard of Liverpool, brothers Leland Ridgeway of Mattydale, Dale Ridgeway of Baldwinsville, Donald Ridgeway of Weedsport and four grandchildren. Funeral services 1 p.m. Monday at the Maurer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home 300 Second St., Liverpool. Contributions may be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church 904 Vine Street Liverpool, NY 13088.
