Ralph R. Gransden, 77, of East Syracuse, father of Gail J. Garvin, Pulaski, died Monday at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse.
The funeral will be noon Friday at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. Warren Covall officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to James Street United Methodist Church, Syracuse.

Ralph R. Gransden, 77, of 22 Cotty Drive, East Syracuse, died Monday at University Hospital.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. Gransden lived in the Syracuse area 50 years. He retired in 1978 as a mechanic after 36 years with Carrier Corp. He was a member of James Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi; a daughter, Gail J. Garvin of Pulaski; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, the Rev. Warren Covall officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
