Newspaper Obituary - December 28, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Amelia "Millie" Potish, Pulaski Farmer - Amelia "Millie" Polish, 78, Route 3, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Born May 1, 1918, in Johnson City, daughter of Rudolph and Pauline Charnetsky Polish, she had resided for the past 65 years at the family homestead, where she and her brother, Nicholas, had farmed until his death in 1987. Miss Polish was a member of J.B. Butler Women's Relief Corps 127, Pulaski, and the Toothpick Arts and Community Center, Port Ontario. Surviving are a brother, Victor, Sandy Pond; three sisters, Sophie Mullen, Blairsville, Georgia, Annie Schryver, Pulaski, and Margaret Crandall, Sandy Pond; six nieces; four nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; three great-great nephews and a great-great niece. Besides her brother, Nicholas, two other brothers, Carl and Michael Polish, also died before her. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
