      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 22, 1939 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Carrie Peters Burdick, widow of Ira D. Burdick, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Allport, Selkirk, last Friday morning, from pneumonia. Mrs. Burdick was born in the Town of Richland, in 1868, a daughter of the late John and Eliza Hutchings Peters. She was a member of the Baptist church of Pulaski. Surviving are a son, Arthur B. Burdick; a daughter, Mrs. John Allport; five grandchildren, Don Burdick of Cortland, Leo Burdick, Miss Ruth Burdick and Mrs. Harry Elkin all of Pulaski and Edward Allport of Selkirk; one great grandson, Robert Burdick of Cortland; two brothers, Eli Peters of Fernwood, Milo Peters of Adams, and one sister, Mrs. James Murray of Pulaski. The funeral was held at the home of her son, Arthur, Sunday afternoon with the Rev. W. R. Rogers of the Pulaski Baptist church, officiating assisted by Rev. Charles Hutchins. Burial in Willis cemetery.
