      Joseph J. Reitz, 55, of 4594 Onondaga Blvd.,Onondaga, died Saturday at home.

      Born in Oswego, he was a graduate of Oswego High School. He was a laborer with Local 214 in Oswego. He worked on various construction sites throughout New York state, including the Nine Mile 1 and 2 nuclear power plants. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

      Survivors: His wife, the former Carla Johnson; a daughter, Brandi Masters of Syracuse; his mother, Rose Trenca Reitz of Oswego; four sisters, Mary Manwaring, Carol Stuber, Patty Virgin and Kathy Ponzi, all of Oswego; two brothers, August and Phillip, both of Oswego; a grandchild.

      Services: Noon Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home. Burial, St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 124 W. Fifth St., Oswego.
