      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 13, 1879 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - South Richland, March 10th, 1879 - The funeral services of Mrs. Phebe Burdick. widow of the late Rev. Elias Burdick and mother of R. A. Burdick, were held at the Baptist Church in Hohnesville, Sunday, Rev. M. B. Comfort, of Pulaski, officiating.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 27, 1879 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - Burdick - At South Richland, March 7, 1879, Phoebe, wife of Elias Burdick, aged 79 years, 11 months and 29 days. The deceased, whose maiden name was Pierce, was born in Johnson, Providence county, Rhode Island, March 17, 1799, and when a small child removed with her parents to Unadilla, Otsego county, in this State, where she was married to Mr. Burdick. From Unadilla she removed to Boonville, and subsequently to South Richland, where she has resided for many years. The deceased was a faithful, consistent member of the Baptist denomination for over sixty years. The remains were deposited by the side of her late husband, in the Willis Cemetery, in the presence of a large number of sorrowing friends.
