      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, October 23, 1956 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Fulton - Mrs. Martha B. Cherbonneau, 70, of 613 1/2 South Fourth Street, died Tuesday at her home after a long illness. A native of the town of Richland, Mrs. Cherbonneau was the daughter of the late Nelson and Emma Fuller Gardiner. She was married to Christopher Obleman July 20, 1904. Mr. Obleman died in March of 1936 and in January of 1944, she married James Cherbonneau. Mrs. Cherbonneau was a member of State Street Methodist church and a member and past noble grand of Nahasane Rebekah lodge. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Charles Obleman of Richland and Nelson Obleman of Adams; a daughter, Mrs. Ivan (Emma) Scriber of Fulton; two step-sons, Harry Cherbonneau of Fulton and James Cherbonneau of Rome; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the Young and Son funeral home at a time to be announced. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
