- Newspaper Obituary - August 11, 1960 Niagra Falls Gazette - Former Falls Boy, 6, Dies - Funeral services were held Monday in Parish, N. Y.. (or a six-year-old former Niagara Falls boy, Joseph Nassoiy, who died Friday (August 5. 1960). Word of the boy's death was received here today. The Nassoiy boy, who had'i been ill for three years, died ; in Syracuse Memorial Hospital. He Is survived by his par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nassoiy, 903 95th St.. this city, and Parish, respectively, and' a brother, Kenneth Nassoiy Jr., and sister, Nancy Nassoiy, both of Parish. Also survivingi' I are the boy's maternal grand father. Frank Becker. Parish, and his paternal grandmother, Esther Nassoiy, this city. Services were conducted at St. Anne's Church, Parish. Interment was In Parish.
Newspaper Obituary - August 11, 1960 - Mexico Independant and Parish Mirror - Deaths - Joseph H. Nassoiy - Joseph Herman Nassoiy, 6, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nassoiy, Parish R.D.1, died Friday in Syracuse Memorial Hospital following a two week illness. He was a first grade pupil in the Altmar - Parish - Williamstown Central Schools. Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Nancy; a brother, Kenneth; his maternal grandfather, Frank Becker, Parish; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Esther Nassoiy, of Niagra Falls. Prayer services was at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Harter Funeral Home, Parish, followed by an Angel's Mass in St. Ann's Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial was in Carly Mills Cemetery.
