    • Newspaper Obituary - September 18, 1958 Pulaski Democrat - Rites Today for Mrs. Whitford - Last rites for Mrs. Bertha L. Whitford, 68, who died Monday afternoon at the Dowling Nursing Home will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home. The Rev. W. Russel Clark, pastor of Park Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Whitford had been a patient at the nursing home since July and had been ill the past year. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Viola) Fuller of Liverpool and Mrs. Foster (Pearl) Gillan of Camillus and six grandchildren. Mrs. Whitford was born at Pineville on Feb. 21, 1890, and was the daughter of Peter and Sarah Keyes Lohnes. She was married to Mr. Whitford Oct. 26, 1904, and had always lived on a farm in this vicinity.
