- John Robert Quackenbush, age 57, life resident of Pulaski passed away in an automobile accident Wednesday in the Town of Mexico. John was born February 3, 1959 in Syracuse, the son of Wesley and Maxine Nichols Quackenbush. He graduated from APW High School in 1977. He owned and operated JNR Automotive in Mexico for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Pulaski-Boylston Snowmobile club.
Surviving are three sisters, his twin, Joyce Quackenbush of Oneida, Deonn Casey of Pennellville and Karen Quackenbush of Germany, four brothers, Rodney Quackenbush of Pulaski, Roger Quackenbush of Altmar, Larry Quackenbush of Cato and Scott Quackenbush of Louisville, KY, and his beloved Springers.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at the Sandy Creek Wesleyan Church, 6118 N. Main Street, Sandy Creek, NY 13145 with a reception to follow at the Pulaski American Legion. No calling hours will be held. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
