- Newspaper Obituary - February 08, 1982 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. Frances G. Bowers - Pulaski - Mrs. Frances G. Bowers, 66, of Pulaski RD4, died Friday at Oswego Hospital, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She was born in Dugway to Avery and Fannie Richardson Towsley. She attended Dugway Schools. She was married to Robert Bowers in 1967 and she previously was married to Howard Thomas who died in 1966. Surviving besides her husband are five sons, Robert Trumble of Rochester, Roger Trumble of Chicago, Ill., Clifford Trumble of Fulton, Carl Trumble .of Rome, and Darwin Trumble of Syracuse; four daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Parkhurst of Fulton, Mrs. Elaine Jiminez of Syracuse, Mrs. Brenda Richway of Jordan, and Mrs. Stephanie Pierce of McGraw Air Force Base, N.J.; two brothers, Richard Towsley of Pulaski, and Vernon Towsley of Smithville; seven sisters, Harriet Thomas of Cooperstown, Jennie Thomas of Williamstown. Lucy Renwick of Camden, Dorothy Warcup of Rome, Margaret McMann of Sacketts Harbor, Gladys Thomas of Sulphur Springs, and Beverly Ross of Washington, D.C; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Virgil Hager officiating. Spring burial will be in Pineville Cemetery.
