      Ethel E. Burdick Carey, 68, of 45 Catherine St., Oswego, died Sunday. A life resident of Oswego, she attended Oswego schools. She was a homemaker and had been a short order cook at Whalen's Drug Store in Oswego in 1952. A daughter, Linda Gessner, died previously.

      Survivors: Her husband, Glenn; a daughter, Cheryl A. Watson of Peoria, Ariz.; three sons, Thomas H. of Fulton and Daniel J. and Jeffrey A., both of Oswego; a sister, Viola Roach of Oswego; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Church. Spring burial, Riverside Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
