      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, May 28, 1930 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - New Centerville - Mrs. George Porter died at her home here last Wednesday afternoon of double pneumonia.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 4, 1930 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Nellie Porter - The death of Mrs. Nellie Porter, wife of George Porter, who resided on the Centerville road, town of Albion, occurred Wednesday, May 21. She had been ill for eight weeks. Mrs. Porter was born in Albion, November 6, 1891, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Prosser Whaley, and had lived in that vicinity all her life. Surviving Mrs. Porter, whose death is sincerely mourned in her home community, are her husband, three daughters, Myrtle, Mary and Melva; two brothers, Orla and James Whaley and a half-brother, Richard Scriber; also a sister residing in Rochester. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the family home, and at 2 o'clock at Christ church, Richland. Burial was made in Riverside cemetery, Pulaski. Rev. P. N. Brownell officiated.
