Hilborn, 84, of Santee, S.C., died Thursday at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, S.C., of natural causes. He was a retired journalist, who had worked for Armstorng Cork Co. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Born in Phoenix, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Vivian McGann Hilborn. Surviving are a son, William B. of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Jan F. of East Fairfield, Vt.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
