- Newspaper Obituary - June 20, 1997 Post Standard - Mary F. Swartwood, 62, of Liverpool, died Wednesday at home after a long illness. A life resident of Clay, she was employed by B.G. Sulzle in North Syracuse until her retirement. Her husband, James M., died in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Lashomb of Liverpool; four sons, Bruce Redhead of Clay, Donald Redhead of Fulton, Robert Redhead of Clay, and Jeffery Swartwood of Cicero; her mother, Anna Ryan Olekska of Liverpool; two brothers, John Loura of Mexico and Henry Loura of Amboy; two sisters, Kathleen Lavere of Liverpool and Patricia Bottiglieri of North Syracuse; and 16 grandchildren. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home. Burial is in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York.
