    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, August 25, 1941 Utica Daily Press - ROBERT L. GORA Mohawk - Robert L. Gora a native of. Mohawk, died Aug. 21, 1941, in a Syracuse hospital. He was a son of John and Julia Ann Ayres Gora. He attended the Mohawk schools and was employed for many years In the Remington Typewriter plant in Ilion. Later he was transferred to the Remington Rand plant in Syracuse as foreman of the polishing department. Besides his widow In Syracuse, he leaves a daughter, Miss Mary Barbara Gora, and a sister, Miss Alice Gora, both of Mohawk. The funeral will be conducted from the home of his sister, 68 Walnut St., Mohawk, at 9 a. m. tomorrow and at 9:30 from the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
