  Newspaper Obituary - December 18, 2000 Post Standard - Doris J. Meyers Jokajtys, 72, of Rome died Saturday at Rome Memorial Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Lakeport before moving recently to Rome. She was a shipping clerk for 15 years at C.E. Chappell & Sons in Syracuse. Her husband, Thomas, died in 1987. Survivors: Two daughters, Charlene Brayton of Bridgeport and Doreen Cook of Florida; two sons, Frank and Scott Brayton, both of Canastota. Services: 8 p.m. Tuesday at Traub Funeral Home. Burial, Oneida Lake Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 7975 Route 31, Bridgeport. Contributions: Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department.
