- Newspaper Obituary - October 20, 1999 Syracuse Post Standard - William R. Yager, 50, of 5 Elm St., Tully, died Monday at home. Born in Ilion, he lived in the Port Leydon Lyons Falls area and the Syracuse area before moving to Tully. He formerly worked at Chrysler Trash Co. He was a member of the Solvay Saturday Night Mixed Bowling League and a former Little League coach with Tully Parks and Recreation Department. Survivors: His wife, the former Darlene Stewart; to sons, Shawn and Brandon, both of Tully; a sister, Dianna Zeigler of Boonville; three brothers, George Oyer of Ilion, Mark Oyer of Anaheim, Calif., and Scott Oyer of Mecca, Calif.; his parental grandmother, LuVern Yager of Boonville. Services: 9 a.m. Friday at Hartwell Funeral Home. Burial White Chapel Memory Gardens. Calling hours, 6to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 11 Clinton St., Tully.
