Notes - CARR, Juanita M., 82, passed away October 2, 2011, in Dade City, Fla. She was born April 3, 1929, in Union County, Fla. Juanita was a lifelong resident of Dade City and retired from Cox Elementary School cafeteria. She was a member of Withlacoochee Baptist Church and will be missed by her loving family and many lifelong friends. She is survived by four children, Roger Groover, Terrie Edwards, Janice MacFerran and K. Jeff Carr; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lois Barthle, Oweda Harris, Oleta Brown and Caroline Douglas. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth W. Carr; and two children, Jennell Groover Sutton and Jerry M. Carr. Services will take place at 10.30 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, with Pastor John Lennard officiating. The family will receive friends 9:30- 10:30 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice, 37441 Clinton Ave., Dade City, FL 33525.
