- September 20, 2015 - Berna D. Loura, 80 of Parish, died Sunday at St. Joseph's in Syracuse. She was born in Mallory, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Evans. She was formerly employed at B.G. Sulzlie in Mattydale. Berna is survived by her husband of 31 years, Henry R. Loura; four children, Cindy Banker of Pompano Beach, FL, Billy (Kathy) Windey of Castorland, Mary (Mike) Faulkner of Altmar and Mark (Kelly) Reynolds of Brewerton; two stepchildren, Bud (Kim) Loura of Fulton and Ralph (Kathleen) Loura of Danville, CA; 10 grandchildren, Susan, Michelle, Jericka, Zachary, Nick, Nathan, Lucas, Eli, Heather and Kim; along with 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday from the Harter Funeral Home, 2983 W. Main St., Parish, NY. Burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Date of Death: September 20, 2015
