    • Newspaper Obituary - August 30, 1934 Fulton Patriot - Elmer L. Kane, 38, of 512 Cayuga street, died in St. Josephs hospital, Syracuse, Friday, a little less than five hours after he suffered fatal injuries in an automobile accident on the Syracuse town highway. Two women, Mrs Anna Kellogg 38 of Minetto, and Mrs. Jennie Wynman. 50. of St. Catherine. Ontario, who were in the car with Kant were seriously injured, Mrs. Kellogg suffered skull injuries, lacerations of the forehead and severe shocks Mrs. Wynman suffered a double compound fracture of the right leg, severe acerations and shock. The fourth occupant of the car Lawrence Nodecker, 47, was less seriously injured, but he has a compound fracture of one leg and numerous cuts and bruises. Trooper Clifford Christensen of the North Syracuse, state police, who arrived at the scene a few minutes after the crash, summoned an ambulance. Kane had been employed as an automobile salesman in Fulton several years and the car in which he was killed was owned by the Oswego Motor company, in whose employ he had been of late. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Kane; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Taylor, two sisters Mrs. Hilda Rowley of Fulton and Mrs. William Rathburn of Edwards, and four brothers, George and Frank Kane of Watertown, and William and James Kane of Rochester. The remains were brought to this city and funeral services held from his home Sunday, Rev. Rowley officiating; interment in Mt. Adnah.
