  March 20 1969 Oswego Weeklies E. Raymond Clute, 83, 315 Lock St, Phoenix died Friday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse following a long illness. Mr. Clute was born in Granby and had been a resident of Phoenix 41 years. He was formerly superintendent of the Borden Co., in Pennellvllle. He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational of Phoenix and had served as trustee and custodian there. He Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Lobdell Clute; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Wilkinson of Claverack, N.C. and Mrs. Helen Hyovalll of Ogdensburg; two sons, Grant M. of Charlotte, N.C. and Richard L. Clute of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Slauson of Largo, Florida. Funeral services were conducted on Monday with the Rev. Norman E. Isaman, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will be in the spring in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
