    • Newspaper Obituary - February 27, 1987 - Dorothy Q. Waring, 83, a former Lock Street resident, died Thursday at House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown. Born in Syracuse, Mrs. Waring lived in Phoenix between 1935 and 1978. She then moved to Pulaski. Her husband, Everett, died in 1976. Surviving are a son, Jerome E., of Dover, Del.; a brother, Harold Quimby, of Watertown; two grandchildren, a nephew and a niece. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 919 Main St.
