    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 24, 1949 Citizen Advertiser - Auburn, New York - James Eastman, Sr., of Port Byron, RD 5 died early Sunday morning after an extended illness. He was born in Camillus, but had resided most of his life in Cayuga County where he was employed as an engineer in various industrial plants. He is survived by one son, James Eastman, Jr., of Auburn; one brother, Charles Eastman; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the Joseph P. Cuddy Funeral Home, 81 North Fulton Street, Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. Henry C. Sears of the Wall Street Methodist Church. Burial will be in the family plot in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop.
