    • Obituary:
      Clifford T. Taber, 52, formerly of Auburn, died unexpectedly Friday evening in Schenectady where he had resided for 25 years. He was a son of the late Leon J. and Lucy Ann Thompson Taber. He was employed by Alco Products for ?? years.

      Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Elmer Clark, Mrs. Francis Chilson, Mrs. Leonard Gasparro, Mrs. Daisy Cecchine, all of Auburn, Mrs. Elmer Titus, Topeka, Kan., Mrs. Alson Ryan, Montclair, Calif.; five brothers, Howard, Raymond, Clophas, Daniel Taber, all of Auburn, and Harrison Taber of Syracuse; also several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Langham Funeral Home, Rev. Mardean Moyer, pastor of the Fleming Federated Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop.

      Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
