Jean M. Plummer, 68, of 6678 Oswego County Route 17, died Saturday in St. Joseph's Health Care Center, Syracuse, where she had been a patient since April 17.
Born May 17, 1928, in Hunlock, Pa., daughter of Albert and Laura Cragle Roderick, she was educated in Pennsylvania.
She married Richard A. Plummer on Sept. 7, 1946, in Syracuse. They lived in Liverpool and Sandy Creek, moving to Redfield in 1973.
Mrs. Plummer was a member of Vorea Community Church.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Lora J. Duerr, Central Square, Lois E. Foley, Camden, and Lynn E. Brodeur, Richland; two sons, Donald A., Redfield, and Ronald J., Sandy Creek; a sister, Eleanor Guild, McMurray, Pa.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vorea Community Church, County Route 50, Orwell, with the Rev. Thomas Howell, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are with Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek.
