- Newspaper Obituary - May 20, 2015 The Citizen - Auburn, New York - AUBURN - Mrs. Jacqueline J. Driscoll, 81, of 53 First Ave., Auburn, (Owasco), passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. A life resident of the Auburn area, she was a daughter of Frederick and Catherine Ganier Horr. She was a graduate of Union Springs High School, and retired from the local John Hancock Insurance Office, as the office manager. Her husband, James H. Driscoll, predeceased her in 2009. A devoted mother, and grandmother, she especially enjoyed her great-grandchildren. She had also enjoyed crafting, sewing, and gardening. Surviving children, Kathy (Brian) Gauthier, of Auburn, James J. Driscoll (Devon), of Throop, David H. Driscoll (Ann), of Auburn, and Karen Driscoll, of Owasco; six grandchildren, Laura Seneca, Jeffrey Gauthier, Jennifer Driscoll, Christopher Driscoll, Amanda Cosamano, and Matthew Driscoll; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Phillip Horr, of Florida; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by a brother, Fred Horr. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 in Willard Memorial Chapel, 17 Nelson St., Auburn, with the Rev. Matthew Binkewicz, and Rev. James Enright officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Farrell’s Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, TN or LaKota St. Joseph School, SD.
