      Mrs. Dwight Hodge
      Herkimer - Mrs. Lovisa Hodge, 79, wife of Dwight Hodge, died unexpectedly last night, June 24, 1935, at the home of her son, Clarence hodge, 30 Maple Grove Avenue.

      Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage, according to Coroner James W. Graves.

      She was born in Perryville, Feb. 5, 1856, daughter of the late Eli and Arnienia Mason Vibbert, and had been married to Mr. Hodge for more than 55 years.

      They resided in Canastota until four years ago, when they came here with their son. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and is survived by her husband and son.

      Word was received here Monday by Mrs. Ross Woodworth of the death of Mrs. Dwight Hodge at the home of her son Clarence Hodge in Herkimer. Mrs. Hodge was a resident of this community for many years and was 79 years of age.

      Surviving besides the son is her husband. Funeral services will be held at Mount Pleasant cemetery Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.
