    • Newspaper Obituary - September 3, 1996 Syracuse Post Standard - Deceased Name: HAROLD B. KILLMORE - Harold B. Killmore, 70, of Onondaga Hill died Sunday at Community-General Hospital after a long illness. He lived on Onondaga Hill most of his life. He worked from 1949 until 1991 as an independent insurance agent and owned the Harold B. Killmore Insurance Agency on Onondaga Hill. Mr. Killmore was a member of the Onondaga Hill United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific and earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Lois DePriest; a son, Neil D. of Onondaga Hill; a daughter, Janet Wolek of Kissimmee, Fla.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Butler-Badman Funeral Home. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 4504 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse. Contributions may be made to Aurora of CNY, 616 S. Salina St., Syracuse or the South Onondaga Volunteer Fire Department, Route 80, Nedrow 13120.
