- Obituary:
Elmer J. Clark, husband of Mrs. Adabelle Taber Clark, of R.D. 1, Bluefield Road, Auburn, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 17, 1985, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fleming, he was the son of Thomas and Nellie Foster Clark. Mr. Clark retired from Beacon Milling Company in 1964 after 21 years as a loader. He was a member of the Fleming Federated Church.
Mr. & Mrs. Clark celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in September of 1984.
Surviving besides his wife are: Elmer H. Clark Jr. of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Mullen of Montezuma and Mrs. Shirley Horr of Aurelius; nine grandchildren, Daniel Clark and Jackie Clark, both of Texas, Allen and Roger Clark and Sheila Confer, all of North Tonawanda, Terry Mullen of Montezuma, Deborah McLoud of Auburn, Linda Dudley of Throop and Brenda Castner of Weedport; one sister, Mrs. Amy Breswter of Auburn; one brother, Charles Clark of Scipio; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Clark will be held Saturday, April 20, 1985, at 11 a.m. at the Langham Funeral Home with Rev Bernard DeGraw officiating. Burial will be in Fleming Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home, 91 East Genesee Street will be Thursday and Friday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family desires contributions to be made to the Fleming Fire Department No. 2 in memory of Mr. Clark.
