• Notes

  From The Belmont Weekly Dispatch: Friday August 29, 1913. Vinton Wardner, born in Ontario Co., 1839; a former resident of Belmont, died at the age of 72 years, at the home of his daughter Mrs. Warren Adams in West Almond on Tuesday afternoon. The funeral will be held at the West Almond Baptist church. Mr. Wardner was a Civil War Veteran, having served as a Private of Capt. J. J. Dennison's Company "M", 21st Regiment of Pennsylvania County Volunteers. He is survived by three sons and one daughter.
