    • Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Our beloved wife and mother Denice Murphy Barainca, passed away at her home in Sandy, Utah on Saturday, July 12, 2014. Denice was born in McGill, Nevada on January 28, 1938 to Keith C. Murphy and Winona Linnarz Murphy. She grew up in McGill with her brother, Alan Murphy (deceased). Denice married John William Barainca in 1954 and they had three daughters: Wendy, Jacqui, and Janet. In 1964 Denice and her family moved to Utah where John pursued an education at Brigham Young University. Denice took a job at BYU and continued to work for the university until her retirement in 2002. During that time, she earned a bachelor and master degree in library and information sciences. She was an avid family history researcher and served as a family history extraction specialist. Denice was preceded in death by her daughter Jacqui Barainca Suker (Randy Suker). She is survived by her husband John Barainca, her daughters, Wendy Pipkin (Marc Pipkin) and Janet Rock (David Rock), as well as fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Falcon Park Ward, 9119 South 1300 East in Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
