      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 16, 1938 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rufus North, 82, life-long resident of this town, died in Mexico, Sunday after a short illness. He had resided in Mexico the past two years. He was a son of the late Lambert and Julia Tilkins North and was born in Town of Richland March 11, 1856. In his early years he sailed the Great Lakes, later becoming a farmer. He is survived by three sons, Lambert, Fred and Lewis, all of this village; three grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Edith Jones, Durhamville; Mrs. Addie Burns and Mrs. Ethel Minckler, of Pulaski. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the Lawrence Funeral Chapel. Burial in Willis Cemetery.
