    • Andrew Thomas Ackley - June 6, 1832 - January 3, 1917. Military Service Civil War: Enlisted August 5, 1862 at Albion, Oswego County, New York; Mustered in August 25, 1862 as a Private in Company B, 110th New York Infantry Volunteers; Mustered out of Company February 6, 1864 on a surgeon's certificate of disability at New Orleans, Louisiana. Son of Lot W. and Elizabeth Taylor Ackley. Husband of Mary Jane Stillwell Ackley. Married March 17, 1858
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 10, 1917 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Altmar - Thomas Ackley, one of the oldest residents of this town, died at the home of his grandson, Julian Ackley, 1 mile north of this village, last Wednesday. Mr. Ackley was eighty-five years of age. Born in the town of Albion and had always lived here except three years he served in the civil war, with Company B, 110th Regiment, New York Volunteers. Mr. Ackley was united in marriage with Mary Jane Stillwell, fifty eight years ago last March. He has been a great sufferer from cancers for sixteen years. He leaves, besides his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Frank Lester, of Syracuse. Byron G. Seamans, Chaplin of A. S. Warner Camp, Sons of Veterans, of Pulaski, conducted the funeral services Saturday afternoon at one o'clock. Burial took place in Richland cemetery beside two sons who died several years ago. Friends from out of town in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lester and son, Milo, Mrs. Lucius Rusch, of Syracuse; George Ackley, of Altmar; Mr. and Mrs. L. H. All, of Mexico.
