      Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, October 25, 2009 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Frank E. Worns, 86, formerly of Lacona, died October 22, 2009 at Pontiac Nursing Home in Oswego where he resided since 2005. Born June 19, 1923 in New York City. Son of Percy and Alga Benz Worns. Educated in New York City. Married on November 3, 1945 to Una J. O'Sullivan in England while serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the U.S. Anny from 1942 to 1946. They lived all their married life in Sandy Creek-Lacona area. Mrs. Worns died July 6, 2003. He retired from Schoeller Paper Company as a crane operator in 1988. He was also predeceased by a son James and two sisters. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Martha Worms of Pulaski, a daughter-in-law Barbara Worns, Richland, 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Arthur of Delaware, John of Indiana, two sisters: Louise Johnson of Arizona and Gladys Roper of Long Island. He was a member of Sandy Creek Grange #127 and the Pulaski Knights of Columbus. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am. at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Pulaski with the Rev. Jozef Mucha officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Summerville Funeral Home Sandy Creek, New York.
