      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, July 8, 2003 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Una J. Worns Blount Lumber Company Retiree ¬Una J. Worns, 84, of 167 Ballou Road, died Sunday in Mercy of Northern New York, Watertown, where she had been a resident since June 26. Mrs. Worns owned and operated Una's Coffee Shop in Sandy Creek from 1956 to 1959. She later worked for General Electric, in the restaurant in Pulaski Bowling Alley, and at Blount Lumber Company, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Christ Our Light Catholic Community and Sandy Creek Grange 127. She volunteered for Northern Oswego County Ambulance for several years. Born March 4, 1919, in Ennistymon, Ireland, daughter of James and Annie Fitzpatrick O'Sullivan, she was educated in Ireland. She married Frank E. Worm on November 3, 1945, in Staffordshire, England_ The couple moved to Massapequa Park in 1946, remaining through 1955. In 1956, they moved to the Sandy Creek-Lacona area. Surviving besides her husband are a son and his wife, Ronald P. and Martha E. Worns, Pulaski; a daughter-in-law, Barbara, Richland; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, James, died September 16, 1987. Four brothers and a sister also died before her. The funeral will be at 10 am. Wednesday at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, Lacona. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek.
