    • Newspaper Obituary - November 16, 1983 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - James F. Byrns - James F. Byrns, 37, of 316 Oak St., Syracuse, formerly of Sandy Creek, died November 4, 1983 at his home. Born Nov. 15, 1945 at Orwell, son of Helen Montondo Byrns, he attended Pulaski Schools. His first marriage to Sylvia Fluck of Quakertown, Pa., ended in divorce. On August 18, 1975 he married Marjorie Mayer. He lived in Orwell and Sandy Pond and moved to Syracuse in 1969. He served in the Army from 1965 to 1969 and for the past 10 years had been a driver for Syracuse and Oswego Motor Lines Inc. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; a son, John J., Quakertown, Pa; two step-daughters, Brenda Fairia and Annette Fairia, at home; his mother, Mrs. Helen Byrns, Lacona; two brothers, Robert Byrns, Hastings and Kenneth Byrns, Morton, Pa., and nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Monday, November 7th at the Summerville Funeral Home, with Rev. Stanley Tanner, pastor of Sandy Creek United Methoidst Church, officiating, burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
