Notes - Virginia M. Pollic, age 86, life resident of Richland and Altmar, passed away Sunday at Mercy of Northern NY Nursing Home in Watertown. Virginia was born September 16, 1925 in Altmar. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1942. Virginia married George A. Pollic Sr., on April 10, 1948, he died, July 16, 2001. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Virginia served as an election inspector in Altmar for several years. Surviving: one daughter, Judy (Richard) Henderson of Pulaski; two sons, George A. Pollic Jr. of Richland, and Richard C. (Debra) Pollic of Dunnellon, FL; one sister, Ruth Larrabee of Detroit, MI; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY with burial in Pineville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral.
