    • Online Obituary - Frank E. Sanderson., age 81, resident of Pillar Point since 1987, previously of Pulaski and Adams, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Frank was born June 15, 1934 in Altmar, the son of Frank and Lucy Potter Sanderson. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1952 and Canton ATC in 1954. Frank served in the United States Marine Corp from 1956 until 1962. He married Marilyn Maitland on August 10, 1958. Frank was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation for 26 years, retiring in 1990. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Montcola Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn J., one son, Bruce W. Sanderson of Rochester, two daughters Janice M. (Clark) Gaffney (Jack) of Kirkville and Linda (Rick) McNitt of Pulaski, two brothers, James Sanderson of Vero Beach, FL and Larry Sanderson of Clay, one sister Cindy Love of Sandy Pond, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday March 31, at the Foster Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, including burial with military honors at Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association CNY, 100 Northern Concourse, Syracuse, NY 13212.
